A "Days" guest actor posted this look at the parking clearance, showing actors who taped on Monday, July 8, revealing that Kim Coles (Whitley) and John-Paul Lavoisier (Philip) will be airing in early 2025 episodes, as will Casey Moss (JJ).

YES! I am so excited for this! Mostly for JPL’s return as Philip! He improved dramatically last time (and I thought he was pretty decent the first time around), so I can’t wait to see him again!

I’m also so excited to see J.J. again! Hopefully both will be sticking around for a while!

I am not a fan of the "new" Philip. I would much prefer the "old" Philip.

But it will be nice to see JJ again and the Whitley return has me laughing.

I did not like Jay's turn as Philip when he returned in 2020, he was acting off and his ticks got to me. This Philip was new to me and I enjoyed his brief turn last year.

I’m not excited about JPL as Philip
I think of his portrayal as the village idiot plus he’s not attractive imo and I just found myself disliking Philip who I always loved
As for JJ I’ll endure it I guess, hopefully he’s not written as annoying as before

It seriously pains me when Philip returns and he's not played by JKJ. The fact he's coming back means he and Chloe probably split again. I was happy to have them offscreen together if I couldn't have JKJ and Nadia onscreen.

The last few times Philip has been in Salem the writers didn't seem to know what to do with him. I have low expectations at this point especially with JPL in the role.
