Here's this week's questions.
1. Now that we've had a full week of the new actress playing Gabi, what do you think of her so far?
2. Did Gabi spilling the beans about the baby's parentage seem in character to you?
3. Do Brady and Theresa have a point or is their decision to send Tate to camp far away an overreaction?
4. Abe finally has a story... but he wants to resurrect his favorite soap opera. Rate this story from 1 (stupid waste of time) to 10 (best story ever).
5. It seems like everything g is moving forward toward a reveal about the Alex lie. What do you hope happens after the truth comes out?
6. What, if anything, annoyed you on this week's Days of Our Lives?

Great questions. Here are my answers.
1. Now that we've had a full week of the new actress playing Gabi, what do you think of her so far? She seems like a decent actress and has the right “look,” only older than original Gabi. I didn’t sense any chemistry between her and Stefan but I’m sure it takes a minute to mesh with other actors.
2. Did Gabi spilling the beans about the baby's parentage seem in character to you? Yes, it seemed in-character but she just betrayed her beloved husband’s trust. To me, it felt too early in the character’s return for her to be the one to reveal something that she really wasn’t privy to until now. How does she even know Nicole’s still in love with Eric? She doesn’t! She only knows what her husband told her about the baby. To me, it made her character unlikeable, and I had been pretty open-minded.
3. Do Brady and Theresa have a point or is their decision to send Tate to camp far away an overreaction? A little of each. They really should have consulted Tate before deciding to exile him and make him so very unhappy.
4. Abe finally has a story... but he wants to resurrect his favorite soap opera. Rate this story from 1 (stupid waste of time) to 10 (best story ever). It has the potential to be really stupid and just as campy as his kidnap story was. I give it a 2.
5. It seems like everything g is moving forward toward a reveal about the Alex lie. What do you hope happens after the truth comes out? I hope Justin disowns Alex for treating him with such disrespect and disdain. I hope Alex is force to repay all the money he spent and has to take a job as bellboy at the Salem Inn. I hope he lashes out at Theresa and she is forced to leave Salem in disgrace and we never see Emily O’Brien as any character ever again. I think Alex is unredeemable, but I thought that about Ben too.
6. What, if anything, annoyed you on this week's Days of Our Lives? I hate the way Alex talks to Justin who did nothing but love and support him, yet exalts a man he barely knew as his father. I found the press conference cringe-worthy. Too much Kristen. Too much Melinda. Too much Stefan. And I thought it was short-sighted of Xander to turn down the check Maggie was offering. It felt like a plot point for everyone to be in awe of Xander’s selflessness.
7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives? All Johnny and Chanel scenes. All Xander and Sarah scenes.

1. Now that we've had a full week of the new actress playing Gabi, what do you think of her so far?
Answer: So far, I like her. This Gabi is a little more mature and subdued, for which I'm grateful. As I was never a big fan of Gabi and Stefan, I can't say that I care if they have chemistry or not. But her scene with Rafe fell flat for me. Hopefully, that will get better with time because I always enjoyed their brother/sister relationship.
2. Did Gabi spilling the beans about the baby's parentage seem in character to you?
Answer: Not out of character per se, but it felt rushed. I wish Gabi had known about this while she was still in prison and had stewed on it awhile and then decided to unleash her pent up anger on EJ. This reveal didn't pack the punch I hoped it would.
3. Do Brady and Theresa have a point, or is their decision to send Tate to camp far away an overreaction?
Answer: Sending him to camp isn't necessarily an overreaction, but they could have handled it better. It would have been helpful to get some buy-in from him. If Brady had been smarter and known anything about his son's friends, he could have offered to send Tate and Aaron together. Then perhaps Tate wouldn't have felt so exiled. They could also give Tate and Holly some supervised time together because I honestly think if they just let them be, they'd break up on their own in about a month.
4. Abe finally has a story... but he wants to resurrect his favorite soap opera. Rate this story from 1 (stupid waste of time) to 10 (best story ever).
Answer: Well, it hasn't started yet, so I'll give it a 5. It sounds dumb, but could be campy fun, and at least it keeps Johnny employed in Salem.
5. It seems like everything is moving forward toward a reveal about the Alex lie. What do you hope happens after the truth comes out?
Answer: I used to think Alex was cheesy but entertaining, but he's become so obnoxious that I no longer care about him. I want to see him and Theresa kicked out of the mansion. I want Alex to slink away having watched Xander take over. And I can't imagine how he'll ever face Justin again.
6. What, if anything, annoyed you on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Answer: Everything Alex. And Rafe being condescending to Jada about Bobby/Everett and a possible cold case. And Holly and Tate's constant whining grated on my nerves.
7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Answer: I enjoyed Bobby toying with Jada. The two of them have good chemistry.

1. Now that we've had a full week of the new actress playing Gabi, what do you think of her so far?
I like her very much. She is a more measured, mature Gabi and I am looking forward to seeing where she takes the character.
2. Did Gabi spilling the beans about the baby's parentage seem in character to you?
Not at all out of character. She is a mother who immediately thought Nicole deserved the truth, and it is very true to her character to want to get revenge on EJ who only put her in prison as retaliation for her and Stefan getting him fired.
3. Do Brady and Theresa have a point or is their decision to send Tate to camp far away an overreaction?
Definitely. Holly put Tate in prison with her reckless behaviour, then left him there, then continued to drink and sneak around. I wouldn't want my dumb teen son around her. Giving them time apart for her to fall for some other guy and him to get valuable education for college is actual good parenting, shocking considering these two parents.
4. Abe finally has a story... but he wants to resurrect his favorite soap opera. Rate this story from 1 (stupid waste of time) to 10 (best story ever).
I will wait and see on this one. It could be a fun vehicle for the vets, and I am instantly supportive of anything that gives Abe a story away from cloying Paulina.
5. It seems like everything is moving forward toward a reveal about the Alex lie. What do you hope happens after the truth comes out?
I hope that Justin does not immediately forgive and forget. I hope very much that he makes Alex work to earn his forgiveness for how he treated him throughout this. I hope also that Xander and Maggie form the tight union that Victor obviously wanted them to forge, running Titan together. I wonder if he knew Sarah was pregnant with his grandchild. Victor had his hands in everything so I would not be surprised.
6. What, if anything, annoyed you on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Those long, boring Nicole and Eric scenes. Every time he enters a scene it is like Debbie Downer, from that sad whisper to the miserable facial expression. Love or hate Sloan, but she made him smile.
7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Xander turning down Victor's money. This felt very true to character for me. He said back in September he was not interested in Victor's handouts because Victor treated him so poorly when he was alive. He accepted a trust for Victoria from Maggie, and that made sense. I like very much that he is determined to make it on his own and be his own success, just like Victor. And yet he will have all the billions and Titan thrust on him despite this wish. Wonder how he will deal with that?
Quote: We may not be the richest couple in town, but we are the luckiest. And the happiest.
I like that their conflict will now come from external sources, not a third party in their relationship (unless we count his mum).

1. Now that we've had a full week of the new actress playing Gabi, what do you think of her so far?
Original Gabi was mercurial and wired. I find this actor too tempered but I can't say I am not surprised. It was always going to be a rough proposition to replace the one and only "Gabi."
2. Did Gabi spilling the beans about the baby's parentage seem in character to you?
I guess not but her delivery lacked the wild passion of the previous actor.
3. Do Brady and Theresa have a point or is their decision to send Tate to camp far away an overreaction?
I think Brady and Theresa are horrible parents. Brutally wrong idea from Brady who backed his son into a corner. Does Tate need some discipline. Sure. But these two nit wits are making things worse. Can't get anymore tone deaf than these two fools.
4. Abe finally has a story... but he wants to resurrect his favorite soap opera. Rate this story from 1 (stupid waste of time) to 10 (best story ever).
I am all game for Abe being involved in a story outside Planet Paulina where he serves as her resident "puppy dog." Last time out with his kidnapping Abe was able to strut his stuff as an actor in a weirdly pitched storyline. The SOAP was campy, but I'll give this story an 8 since I like campy fun.
5. It seems like everything g is moving forward toward a reveal about the Alex lie. What do you hope happens after the truth comes out?
I think the entire storyline has a huge problem. I don't believe for one second Xander was Victor's son. That was a tack on idea after the actor died.
That said watching Alex and Theresa go down in flames (I hope) will at least be a secondary pleasure.
6. What, if anything, annoyed you on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Won't name any names but a major actor is leaving the show very soon which screws up a big storyline.
7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives?
I can't recall too may great quotes, but Bobby and Trask had one. But I'll pick little Rachel's "DUH" when Holly informed her, she and Tate were and item.
The Jude baby story is a nice big fat storyline albeit the execution of it all has been lacking a bit. Stefan remains a problem.
Best scene was Eric saying goodbye to Nicole. Nicole's acting was subtle and superb, and the scene had a sad tragic hue to it.

1. Now that we've had a full week of the new actress playing Gabi, what do you think of her so far?
I like her. She's got bite. This is Gabi 2.o
2. Did Gabi spilling the beans about the baby's parentage seem in character to you? Yes! Gabi would use any platform to take down her enemy. Was it right, no...but was it Gabi? Yes!
3. Do Brady and Theresa have a point or is their decision to send Tate to camp far away an overreaction? A total overreaction. Then again, are either of them really willing to parent Tate or to really get to know him? He's not a bad guy.
4. Abe finally has a story... but he wants to resurrect his favorite soap opera. Rate this story from 1 (stupid waste of time) to 10 (best story ever). 1- stupid waste of time, and I have a feeling it's going to be lame. It was a funny joke at first, but now it's too cheesy.
5. It seems like everything g is moving forward toward a reveal about the Alex lie. What do you hope happens after the truth comes out? I hope Alex crawls on his hands and knees begging Justin for forgiveness. He's been horrible. I also hope Alex and Theresa are penniless and have to repay Xander and Maggie everything they stole from them.
6. What, if anything, annoyed you on this week's Days of Our Lives? I'm annoyed at the Connie layer to the Li Shin murder. I hate lazy writing when it's easy to pin a crime on a non-essential character. They've pinned his death on too many that it's not compelling any more.
7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives? I liked the emotional fall out from the Jude reveal (and Dan/EJ's acting was phenomenal).
