Theresa tells Brady that Sophia said she overheard Tate and Aaron talking about a secret plan. Theresa is sure it was all Holly’s idea and that Tate and Holly plan to sneak out tonight to be together.
Theresa busts some girls vaping in the restroom. She also found Sophia balling her eyes out, but Brady sees Sophia back on the dance floor. Brady thinks Theresa is overreacting. Maybe this is a bunch of teen drama that Theresa should stay out of.
Theresa insists that by the end of the night, Tate and Holly are going to get busted, and Holly won’t know what hit her.
Brady asks Theresa to give Tate some space and not embarrass him.
But Tate comes to them and says he suddenly has a horrible headache and should probably go home. Theresa offers to drive him. Tate points out that she has to stay because she’s a chaperone, so he’ll walk.
As Tate leaves, Theresa turns to Brady and says, “I told you so.” Brady agrees it is a bit suspicious, but Holly is still there. Theresa points out that they couldn’t leave at the same time because that would be a giant red flag.
That’s when Holly hurries by, saying she’s just going to the restroom. Theresa follows. There are other chaperones here. Brady decides to follow, too.
******
Brady and Theresa lose Tate and Holly in Horton Square. Theresa blames her heels. They run into Leo, who is nostalgic about his prom.
Theresa asks if he’s seen Tate or Holly. Leo did see Holly enter the Salem Inn but says he hasn’t.
Brady thinks they should call it a night and talk to Tate in the morning. Theresa reminds him what happened the last time Tate and Holly had a big night out. It’s not like Holly went to rehab. What if she’s out doing drugs with their son? Brady doesn’t believe that.
Brady sees the Salem Inn. Theresa follows his line of sight.

Leo and Theresa again. Still not interested in a Leo and Gwen reboot. So the chaperones have walked out on the entire prom just to chase their kid? Guess it is a free for all back at the event.

Theresa and Brady are miserable failures as chaperones.

Theresa and Brady are miserable failures as chaperones. Had to laugh when "grown ups" Brady and Theresa bolted the Prom. Quite responsible of them. But not surprising. But I have to hand it to Theresa. Call it a mother's intuition. She was on to Tate and Holly like a fly on fruit. And as it turns out that was a good thing. Leo's thumbs up to Holly was funny though.

Yes, but they did say that there were other chaperones at the prom, and given that it was their kid running off, I'm willing to give them a pass.

Why would Theresa worry about the other kids at the prom? She only agreed to go to keep an eye on Tate and watch for Holly.
