After graduating, Burnett moved to New York. Burnett soon landed an agent and manager, and then her first audition with DAYS OF OUR LIVES. She was speedily cast in the role of Melanie Leyton, Max's long-lost sister. Burnett admits to missing Colorado, but often goes back home to visit her parents and younger brother. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking, decorating, and all things Harry Potter. The actress is currently dating her DAYS co-star, Casey Jon Deidrick (Chad). Cool info. Thanks for posting!! If I read this correctly, this is an article from '09? I knew she dated Casey in the past, but I'd always thought that was a high school thing, as I believe they are from the same town. So she's a blackbelt? Now it makes sense why she would take a swing at Dario.  |

I thought they made such a cute couple and always secretly hoped they would give them more screen time together. Let them work together at least a few times.
I have seen her on True Blood. She is a singer and she sings something on there. She has said in interviews too that it is actually her singing. She is prettty darn good!

Yeah I saw her on True Blood too. She was really good on there. She was also on Good Luck Charlie on the Disney channel. She played a girl who liked food delivery guys. It was weird to watch her on that because she was playing a teenager and on Days right now she is soon to be divorced suffering from a miscarriage. A huge disconnect there.
