Hi eceryone! Let's discuss this week's shows:

1. Salem celebrated Mother's Day! Who, if anyone, in Salem do you think is a great mother?
2. Should Maggie wait until the wedding to expose Konstantin or should she call off the wedding and send him packing now that she knows the truth?
3. Everett seemed to turn back into Bobby when he saw his signature on the divorce papers. What the heck do you think is going on here?
4. Rate Chanel and Johnny's pregnancy story from 1 (Ugh get off my screen!) to 10 (best story ever!)
5. Was Holly right to be upset with Nicole forbidding her from going to the prom jor was she acting like a spoiled brat??

1. Salem celebrated Mother's Day! Who, if anyone, in Salem do you think is a great mother?

Sarah. She spends time with her daughter, is hands on, and really appreciates her given the loss of her first little girl.

2. Should Maggie wait until the wedding to expose Konstantin or should she call off the wedding and send him packing now that she knows the truth?

If this were real life, she should just dump him and let ICE have their way with him, but since this is Salem I want to see the big wedding blow out. Plus I agree, he needs to do something patently illegal (attempted murder) to end up in a Greek prison for the rest of his life.

3. Everett seemed to turn back into Bobby when he saw his signature on the divorce papers. What the heck do you think is going on here?

Everett is firmly in control, but whenever he sees visual proof that Robert exists, Bobby is able to sneak in and take over. I still am not sure who is the dominant personality, or if there is a third one who is a combo of them both. I'm sure Saint Marlena will figure it out.

4. Rate Chanel and Johnny's pregnancy story from 1 (Ugh get off my screen!) to 10 (best story ever!)

I don't hate it, because they needed something to do, but I can't rate it a 10 cause I don't like deformed or dead babies. So a 7?

5. Was Holly right to be upset with Nicole forbidding her from going to the prom jor was she acting like a spoiled brat??

Holly was truly awful. Her mother buried a child in November and nearly lost her only other one 6 weeks later. Holly has shown zero remorse or understanding of how serious her drug use was, and she let Tate sit in jail rather than fess up for weeks. She has no business being in an unchaperoned social situation with the same peers who made the drugs available to her in the first place. I wouldn't let her hang out at the pub or the park either until she had done some serious rehab (maybe in the same place Tate was forced to live at).

6. What aggravated you most on Days of Our Lives this week?

Easily Paulina barging in on Chanel who has asked her to leave her alone, on Mother's day while she contemplates that her unborn child may not make it, screaming in her face and making it all about her yet again. I was so glad Chanel finally let her have it.

7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote from this week's Days of Our Lives?

Xander: "I can't wait to see Konstantin again". His delivery killed me through the gritted teeth. Runner up, the way Marlena said 'sweet' when Maggie told her Konstantin had bought her lilies.

1. Salem celebrated Mother's Day! Who, if anyone, in Salem do you think is a great mother?

Christine: Yes, definitely Sarah, for all the reason Carolinelg mentioned. I'd also say Kayla is a good mom. She's always been there for Stephanie, Joey, and even Tripp as his stepmom.

And in a twisted way, I'd put Kate on this list. She would do absolutely anything for her kids, whether they like it or not.

2. Should Maggie wait until the wedding to expose Konstantin, or should she call off the wedding and send him packing now that she knows the truth?

Christine: The smart move would be to just make sure he's deported back to Greece, but having him exposed during a wedding is far more fun. Hopefully, Maggie's life won't be in real danger as long as she doesn't say, "I do."

3. Everett seemed to turn back into Bobby when he saw his signature on the divorce papers. What the heck do you think is going on here?

Christine: This seems like a case of DID (formerly multiple personality disorder). And whenever Everett is confronted with Bobby's existence, Bobby comes out. It is creepy and kind of a fun story, but I wish it would move along a little quicker.

4. Rate Chanel and Johnny's pregnancy story from 1 (Ugh, get off my screen!) to 10 (best story ever!)

Christine: Right now, I'm giving it an 8. I love that they've found a dramatic story for these two. And it's great to have baby drama that isn't a "who's the daddy" story.

I'm curious where they're headed with all of this, but right now, I'm loving seeing Johnny and Chanel come together to figure out how to handle this pregnancy. EJ's advice and Paulina's overbearing hovering and self-pity feel spot on as well.

5. Was Holly right to be upset with Nicole forbidding her from going to the prom, or was she acting like a spoiled brat?

Christine: Holly is a spoiled brat. The moment she doesn't get what she wants, she lashes out. She's really taken no responsibility for her actions or what she put her parents or Tate and his family through.

Could Nicole have let her go to prom with some reasonable restrictions? Yes. But after Holly's outburst, she needs to sit her spoiled little butt at home.

6. What aggravated you most on Days of Our Lives this week?

Christine: Prom plans were SO boring. We have no reason to be invested in this story. Holly is a brat. Tate is a recast that isn't quite working yet. And then there are two other kids, and they're so new that I can't even remember their names. The only remotely interesting part was Holly going off on Nicole.

7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote from this week's Days of Our Lives?

Christine: I loved Chanel going off on Paulina. Paulina doesn't know how to give someone space and can only see this possible tragedy from the perspective of her own guilt. Chanel needed to tell her to back off.
I also like Johnny talking to EJ. Johnny needed to share his fear and anger with someone, and he knew that venting about Paulina's actions to Chanel would just upset her more. And going to his father to find the best specialists made sense.

1. Salem celebrated Mother's Day! Who, if anyone, in Salem do you think is a great mother?
I actually think Paulina is a great mother. Yes, she’s overbearing but until now, she and Chanel had an enviable relationship. She would do anything for her children. She gave Lani up to protect her from an abusive father. She helped Chanel with the Professor situation. Kate on the other hand has interfered in her children’s lives to the point of trying to kill the women her sons wanted to be with.

2. Should Maggie wait until the wedding to expose Konstantin or should she call off the wedding and send him packing now that she knows the truth?
It will definitely be more entertaining if Konstantin is exposed in a very public way. I hope he takes Theresa down with him.

I give it a 9, mostly because it’s original and it shows a couple supporting each other in the worst of times. It’s still early so we shall see how it all unfolds.

5. Was Holly right to be upset with Nicole forbidding her from going to the prom or was she acting like a spoiled brat??
Holly was definitely a brat but Nicole was unreasonable and chose a bad time and a bad way to tell Holly she’s not permitted to go to prom. Don’t do it in a restaurant on mother’s day. Nicole should give Holly a time limit on how long she can be at the prom and watch her like a hawk as a chaperone. Holly has a right to be upset but each time Nicole does something she doesn’t like, Holly unleashes stored-up resentment that turns ugly.

6. What aggravated you most on Days of Our Lives this week?
It aggravated me that Marlena is so involved in the Konstantin story. She didn’t need to be part of Maggie’s intervention. I am also disgusted by Theresa trying to seduce Alex into being interested with her. And Kristen and Alex are also nausea-inducing. Why are they spending so much time on them, while Xander and Sarah get short shrift?

7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote from this week's Days of Our Lives?
Xander and Sarah dealing with the Konstantin issue in a mature way. Xander tricking Stefan into saying the amount of money that was wired into Xander’s account. Chanel telling Paulina off and Johnny working to protect Chanel from Paulina.

1. Salem celebrated Mother's Day! Who, if anyone, in Salem do you think is a great mother?

Certainly, Sarah has taken to motherhood, and I like Kate as a ma. Lucas should appreciate his mother more. I don't like Paulina, but she is a caring mom, albeit smothering which of course is NOT unusual.

2. Should Maggie wait until the wedding to expose Konstantin, or should she call off the wedding and send him packing now that she knows the truth?

Hell, no she shouldn't wait. I thought the Penthouse gang was acting cavalier and smug when they plotted this terrible plan which puts Maggie in danger. This is what is called being too cute which might result in a wicked blowback. Almost like they are all getting off on establishing a way to humiliate and expose Kon instead of ensuring the safety of their so-called friend.

3. Everett seemed to turn back into Bobby when he saw his signature on the divorce papers. What the heck do you think is going on here?

All I can say is like the way Days isn't showing ALL of their cards here and since so much of the byplay concerns stuck up Stephanie and rude Jada, I find all of it interesting at least for the time being.

I do not like this storyline. Another grim insert.

5. Was Holly right to be upset with Nicole forbidding her from going to the prom or was she acting like a spoiled brat??

Of course she was right to get royally pissed off. Nicole has no feel regarding her daughter. What a ham-fisted blunder telling her she can't attend the Prom. Granted Holly was supremely rude, but she is a teen trying to find her way. Holly should be allowed to grow up and Nicole's strict rules are preventing her from self-discovery. A simple chaperone for the Prom would have quickly settled the score. I would choose Eric who has the makings of a great dad.
 
6. What aggravated you most on Days of Our Lives this week?

Two queasy situations. A nude Eric underneath his chef's apron (gross much) and speaking of gross Alex and Kristen are simply disgusting together.

7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote from this week's Days of Our Lives?

To quote a great Smiths song it was great to see people who are "young and alive" as I ate up the impromptu Prom arrangements between Holly, Tate and their friends in the park.  Pathos, humor, seat of the pants moments ruled as these young adults are finding ways to negotiate some tricky things in life.  I was especially struck by the underlying confidence of Aaron and am looking forward to seeing what Days has in store for him.

I hope Days ventures into Prom night as that was my favorite storyline and as far as quotes Holly was ripping big time and even sent a laser beam towards Eric who makes for a better parent than iron clad Nicole. She crossed the line for sure but see below.
