John and Marlena Worry about Paulina / Wednesday (Read 103 times)

John calls a contact in Greece and asks for info about Konstantin's ex-wife. Meanwhile, Marlena goes to check on Paulina and discovers she is missing.

Marlena calls John and fills him in, telling him that Paulina is radioactive and could expose anyone she comes into contact with.

Marlena rushes to the Pub to talk to John. He tells her he's learned that Chanel is missing. The roads to the island are blocked by snow so first responders can't get through... but our mayor Paulina Price commandeered a snow plow and cleared the route for herself. Marlena says anyone Paulina comes in contact with could be exposed to dangerous levels of radioactivity and that they have to warn the first responders.

Off-screen, John notifies the first responders. Marlena says this is like a bad B movie but it isn't funny. Paulina could cause serious problems for anyone she comes in contact with. John says Paulina just wanted tos ave her daughter and wasn't thinking clearly. He says they can understand that. Back in the day they almost lost Sami and later Belle. Marlena is glad John was there to keep her calm during that time. He says she was the strong one who stopped him from falling apart. She says he has that backward but she appreciates him thinking she was strong when she wasn't. He says that's cause she's his person. They both feel lucky to have each other. They kiss.

Marlena gets a call and so does John. John is disappointed by his. Marlena tells him Paulina found Chanel and that other than a sprained ankle, Chanel seems to be okay. John tells her that his contact discovered that Konstantin's wife disappeared without a trace immediately after they signed divorce papers.

No way is Mrs Kon divorced or dead. She is going to be found just in time no doubt

These two are cloyingly sickening.

Sounds like Kon may have killed his ex. Or maybe she and the daughter are in a witness protection program somewhere.

I think Kon's plan is to use the pagoda card to get John to kill Maggie once they are married so he can take all her money. No way is this happening though. Steve/Xander/John or maybe even Theresa will stop it. I'm banking on Mrs Kon and Not Quite Dead Caterina though

It would be a treat if Caterina is alive as well as Mrs. Kon. That would make this ludicrous story at least a bit more palpable.

Having John kill Maggie is one sinister plot. Sounds like a Clyde/Goldman special.

But I am not getting my hopes up. Days rarely comes thru in cases like this.

There is a casting 'spoiler' from November due to air May 15th. It may play into this. I will post it in the correct area
