Who would you love to see return for Doug's memorial?

I'd love to see Michael Weiss return as Mike Horton.

I'd like to see Trish return too. She used to sing at Doug's Place in the early years.

Gotta think about who else.

Now would be the perfect time for them to bring back Dougie LeClair. We only ever saw him as a baby shortly before Robert left, and since he’s Doug’s biological son, I’d love for him to come back.

If they hadn’t killed them off, I’d have said Bill Horton and David Banning. However, the powers that be, in their infinite wisdom, decided “no, let’s just take these two major characters, one who’s been around since the first episode, the other who’s the son of the one character that remains from the first episode, and kill them offscreen so we can add a new character that would fill much the same purpose/get rid of an interesting character” [/totally not bitter]. Obviously, this is Days, so they could still undo it, but still…

Short of that, Scotty Banning would be nice to see, as well, since Doug is his adopted grandfather, and (if Eli comes back) it’d be cool to see him interact with his brother.

In addition to all these older characters. jj needs to come back. Doug once asked JJ to continue the Christmas tradition afte rhe was gone and the characters are supposed to be close.

It was wrong that Hope never visited when everyone thought Doug had dementia and would be just as wrong for her not to come to his funeral.
