1. How do you rate the new Tate? And what do you think of his and Holly’s “Romeo and Juliet” style romance?

The new Tate is too mature and doesn't seem like he is high school like Holly so not a good match. The storyline is OK, but you need the right people to pull it off, but the new Tate sticks out like a sore thumb.

2. Was Kayla right to be angry with Steve over him working with Ava to free Clyde and find Tripp and Wendy?

Kayla went way over the line. Instead, she should have just let Steve know she wanted to be in the loop.

3. If you could make one, and only one, current storyline end in Salem, which one would it be?

Paulina's cancer story. Easy choice.

4. Is Kristen right to want to keep Rachel away from Holly, or is she overreacting?

No, she is overreacting. Kristen rarely does the right thing.

5. If the show actually published the Lady Whistle Blower column, would you read it?

Maybe.

6. Will Eric figure out why he and Sloan’s finances are so out of whack?

I doubt it. He has had blinders on for too long now for that to change.

7. Will Maggie be naive enough to marry Konstantin to get him a green card?

Perhaps but not entirely sure.

8. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?

Anything to do with Paulina's health scares.

9. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week?

Favorite story is the continuing harassment of Clyde towards Ava. Leo had the best line calling "Bobby and Jada" "JOBBY." Julie's "when will spring break end" wasn't bad either.

Favorite moment was when Steve and John decided to pursue Konstantin's ex-wife.

Favorite would have been scene was the potential catfight between Nicole and Kristen which was "rudely" interrupted by EJ.

Good actor, but far too old for this part. He would work better as Parker, Holly's older brother. It is laughable when Theresa and Brady threaten to ground him when he is clearly pushing 30

2. Was Kayla right to be angry with Steve over him working with Ava to free Clyde and find Tripp and Wendy?

Absolutely she was. Ava raped Steve, killed Kayla's dad, and has a history of going rogue, which she did, and now the pedophile killer of Kayla's niece is on the loose with his jailbait (for him) equally deranged girlfriend. There had to be a way where they pretended to release Clyde and still got results. Actually it didn't matter cause Clyde was going to let Tripp die anyway, so the whole thing was for nothing. I think Steve and John got off lightly, they should be in jail.


3. If you could make one, and only one, current storyline end in Salem, which one would it be?

Wendy and Tripp anything. I want them perma off the show. They are the cardinal sin for me: BORING. Paulina irritates me but she evokes some emotion at least.

4. Is Kristen right to want to keep Rachel away from Holly, or is she overreacting?

Kristen is never right about anything, and clearly overreacting, it is not like Holly is going to offer weed to Rachel.

5. If the show actually published the Lady Whistle Blower column, would you read it?

Yes please! They should publish it on their site weekly. I would read the heck out of it.

6. Will Eric figure out why he and Sloan’s finances are so out of whack?

No. Eric is not very bright. Plus he lacks the pertinent information to come to the correct conclusion.

7. Will Maggie be naive enough to marry Konstantin to get him a green card?

Maggie will be, but I think Steve will stop her by finding out he is still married to Catharina's mom. I'm betting Catharina is still alive too. I hope he brings them both to the wedding, just to see Xander's face

8. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?

Three days of Konstantin was very annoying. They need to tone down his screen time, he is universally loathed. Disappointed by the amount of time still spent on Wendy's PTSD. Get over it. Maggie was buried alive for weeks and she never whined like this.

9. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week?

I loved Xander offering Konstantin a ride to the airport, but my favourite scene was the way EJ had to tell Xander he was innocent of all charges through literal gritted teeth and inability to look at him. That was satisfying.

My thoughts.

1. How do you rate the new Tate? And what do you think of his and Holly’s “Romeo and Juliet” style romance?
The new Tate is a decent actor but he looks way too old to play the age Tate is supposed to be. That is the fault of the casting director, not the actor. I like the budding romance between Tate and Holly and I love how open and direct Holly is with Tate about her feelings for him.

2. Was Kayla right to be angry with Steve over him working with Ava to free Clyde and find Tripp and Wendy?
Yes, she had a right to be angry with Steve, but I felt like she went overboard. He was trying to save his son. If it had been Joey, she’d have walked Clyde out of prison herself.

3. If you could make one, and only one, current storyline end in Salem, which one would it be?
All stories and scenes that Sloan is in. Let’s give Jude back to his real mother before Arianne Zucker leaves Days.

4. Is Kristen right to want to keep Rachel away from Holly, or is she overreacting?
Yes. She is trying to protect her daughter and keep her from being influenced by someone who’s a known drug user and liar. Holly likes to play all sweetness and innocence when it suits her and Kristen knows it.

5. If the show actually published the Lady Whistle Blower column, would you read it?
I would definitely read it. I’m sure it would be supremely entertaining.

6. Will Eric figure out why he and Sloan’s finances are so out of whack?
I don’t think Eric is smart enough to figure it out. I think he’ll question Sloan and make her very uncomfortable but she will have oodles of excuses which he will accept, while remaining skeptical.

7. Will Maggie be naive enough to marry Konstantin to get him a green card?
Yes, I think she will agree to marry him because she has a big heart and wants to help him out, especially now that she believes Victor did him wrong. She will feel obligated to make up for that.

8. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?
I thought Paulina’s radiation could have been off-screen. Too many flashbacks. Too many scenes that felt like filler.

9. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week?
I really liked how empathetic Leo was with Everett. I love it when Greg Rikaart is able to show his kinder heart while still remaining in character. I am enjoying Chanel and Johnny’s honeymoon and how blissfully happy they are. I’ve also been enjoying Holly and Tate’s budding romance. Lastly, Nicole and Kristen's fight was fun. I loved them listing each other's crimes.

1. How do you rate the new Tate? And what do you think of his and Holly’s “Romeo and Juliet” style romance?
I liked the other Tate as he seemed more age appropriate. The new guy seems to be a bit older, and as a mom of a teenager, I can't really get past it. Nothing against the actor. He just doesn't seem to be matched appropriately for his age.

2. Was Kayla right to be angry with Steve over him working with Ava to free Clyde and find Tripp and Wendy?
Kayla should absolutely be angry with Steve, however, she understands how Steve is when he defends his family. Plus, Ava is always going to be thorn in their relationship.

3. If you could make one, and only one, current storyline end in Salem, which one would it be?
Wow, tough choice, but I would say anything having to do with Clyde/Stefan. OK, I know that's two, but they're currently tied together so I am cheating.

4. Is Kristen right to want to keep Rachel away from Holly, or is she overreacting?
Kristen is totally overreacting. Then again, it's Kristen and she has never been sane. Her total control over Rachel is going to backfire.

5. If the show actually published the Lady Whistle Blower column, would you read it?
Probably not. I like drama on TV but I don't feel that gossip columns are compelling. Let celebrities date whomever they want. It's not really my business.

6. Will Eric figure out why he and Sloan’s finances are so out of whack?
Yes, eventually, Jude wants to know why he and Sloan couldn't afford to send him to college.

7. Will Maggie be naive enough to marry Konstantin to get him a green card?
I can't believe it has gone this far. Truly, Maggie is definitely blind. A classic case of widow emotional abuse. So yes, she will go along with the wedding.

8. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?
I think there's too much Stefan. I'm so tired of the DiMera family power grab going back to Stefan.

9. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week?
I like seeing happy couples for a brief moment that aren't John/Marlena. Seeing Xander/Sarah, Johnny/Chanel, and Tate/Holly is sweet.
