I have felt all along they were going to recast her, and it looks like Cherie Jimenez (various sources) will be the new Gabi.
It might work. Looking forward to her and I understand she has been coached by the original Gabi. Show needs her tart tongue back.
Also, a rumor Sonny will be recast.
Lots of casting news at Days lately but some are apparently just going to be pit stops but the Gabi recast looks long term.
