Clyde calls Ava. She threatens to slit his throat. He tells her to take a chill pill. He has a job for her. He will out her as Stefan’s accomplice unless she does what he says. When she refuses, he threatens to tell Harris how he got out of prison. He wants her to retrieve a black book with all his contacts from the bistro. She reluctantly agrees.

I like that Ava is getting this reminder that despite her and Harris living in happy land, she is still a crook. How will she get into the Bistro now she has quit?

Never say never. For the longest time Clyde was one of my least favorite characters. But his latest reincarnation as some sort of drug lord has brought me round. I get a kick out of watching him probe the underbellies of the likes of compromised angsty types like Ava.
Good stuff and it all seems so funny to me as well. Because Ava and Harris despite trying to be good have a knack of stepping right into it and I just find it amusing.
Ava and Harris remind me of myself. Not looking for trouble but it always finds them.
Little "black book" intrigue was a nifty touch. Clyde is off the grid. Except for a hard copy of a book with all the dirty details. Ha. Comic book fun.
