Ava is preparing breakfast and tells Harris how free she feels. She feels like she has her life back. He tells her that is a great way to start the day, but she can think of a better way. Later, they are eating breakfast and he gets a call saying that the audit on The Bistro is done and the books are clean. There is nothing tying her to any illegal activities. She is still afraid her involvement with the drugs will come out, but Harris is confident they won’t. Since Clyde no longer has any power over her, she is free to plan her future.
Ava thinks about what she wants to do next and remembers that she had a long ago interest in fashion, but her passion now is cooking. Harris will there be cheering her on, no matter what she decides to do. John & Steve drop by to make sure Ava doesn’t remember anything more about Clyde, but she said she hasn’t. Harris wants them to share whatever they find and to NOT take things into their own hands. John says, “Wouldn’t dream of it.”
Ava leaves to get dressed & Steve leaves. John asks for a copy of Goldman’s personnel file and brings up what Megan did to him. He wants to know if Harris thinks it could happen again. Harris admits he does, but is working on himself and reminds himself every day that he wasn’t responsible for his actions. He tells John to put the blame on the people that tried to control him & forgive himself.

I was laughing to myself as these two babbled about settling down and the bad stuff is over.
Nice set up scene with John and Steve barreling in only to see Harris there.
At least Harris cheered up John a bit.

I don't give a toss about these too. He is a dirty cop and she is a criminal. I don't care if characters own their bad behaviour, but Harris seems to think he is justified in doing what he is doing. In the real world when it comes out all arrests etc. associated with this case would be tossed out due to his corruption
