Leo is telling Chad about his horoscope article when Everett arrives. Everett has been working on an article about Stefan and drug smuggling. Chad is shocked to learn the Stefan has confessed and is in jail. Chad confirms the story with EJ. Everett asks if he is free to print the story. The last time the story came up Chad ordered him to not publish. At that time, Chad believed his brother. That was a mistake. This time there will be no cover up.
Stephanie tells Everett and Chad that she will remain as the Spectator’s PR person. Chad will be her primary contact. Everett leaves to meet Jada.
Stephanie talks to Chad about Everett/Bobby. She is conflicted. Should she hate him or stand by him? Chad advises her to take care of herself and distance herself from Everett. Let Everett lean on someone else. He offers to take some of the burden but Stephanie doesn’t think that will work.

When Steph asked Chad and Everett if she was interrupting the no nods from both of them tells you both are her puppy dogs.

Chad gave Stephanie really bad and self-serving advice when he told her to stay away from Everett. He was the wrong person for her to ask. The right answer is to tell Stephanie she should do what she feels is right, regardless of what others think.
