From what I understand, the # sign means that if they search days or whatever the word is after the # then your tweet will pop up.

That's right. It's a "tag" or a way to categorize your posts so that others who are looking something up might find you. If I were posting something about Mad Men, I'd say #MadMen. If I were posting about Days, I'd say #Days or #DOOL.

I think I'm following most of you. I'll stay updated on this thread and make sure. I am 83leesy1 on Twitter. I tweet mostly about TV (especially soaps) from this account. I also share soap related info and links, including scheduled online soap discussion reminders. Some online chats have included the actors from the shows, especially Days. I was most recently in a chat with Lauren Koslow, where we persuaded her to get on Twitter. She is now @laurenkoslow on there. Please follow me. I tweet often and try to respond to everyone who tweets me in a timely manner. The only ones from Days who have tweeted me are Ari Zucker and Nadia Bjorlin, but I rarely tweet the actors anyway. Thaoo P. and GH's Carolyn Hennesy both followed me for a short while, but stopped. GH's Derk Cheetwood is the only soap actor currently following me- I think. I really don't tweet for celebs to follow/ tweet me, but mainly to build a community of viewers on Twitter. I love conversations with everyone, especially about their shows. |

Often they are retweets by people that you are following. That's what I find on mine anyway. Not sure if they would be anything else. If you look at it there should be two arrows going around in a circle and it says retweeted by and then has the persons name there.
I hope I explained that clearly. LOL

It often annoys me too.
I like using twitter on my phone much better then the website. It has a much better layout
