I know a bunch of us are on twitter, but it's hard to find folks since sometimes our names here are not our names there.
You can find me under @dancingdays123.
Where are you?

I am @missvrc on twitter! I won't say I am fairly new to twitter as I have had my account forever, but I have only recently started using it. Not even sure how everything works yet. Jkjpatch was giving me pointers about how to use it. LOL

I'm @kpatchfanfic on twitter. Feel free to follow me and I'll follow you too.
What I don't understand is how so many people end up on your page. I think it is the people who are following the people who you follow. Or something like that.
I find it pretty easy to tweet. I'm no expert, MrsM, but if you have specific questions, maybe I know the answer or maybe someone more experienced can help.

What is the # for? What does it mean/do?
I am @wd8mqx

The people on your page are the people you follow or tweets they have retweeted. You may end up with a lot of followers that are spambots if your profile is open. I keep mine private so I can chose who sees my tweets. As a teacher, I can't just rant and rave like I'd want to knowing a student, or principal, can see what I say. It also helps keep the spambots away.
The # is for topics. I would label this thread #twitternames for example. I don't tweet all that much, but I love reading celebritweets.

DD is correct, mrsm. The # sign is a way to categorize your tweet. If you are tweeting about Days, you might include #Days in your post so that people who are looking up Days might run across your post. If you were posting about the TV show Mad Men, you might include #MadMen.

I got you GG & jkjpatch, but I think when an account is private I can't just follow you?

If an account is private (like mine) click follow and then the person has to approve your follow, which I will gladly do!
