1. Paulina pointed toward someone while bathed in light, presumably an otherworldly visitor. Who do you think she saw?
A: The only person I can think of is Lexie; she'd be there for someone whom Abe loves. If it's not Lexie, then I really have no clue.
2. Everett smirked to himself after finishing his conversation with Julie. What do you think that was about?
A: I love the way they are playing Everett because I have no idea whether he is just confused, mentally ill, or a sociopath.
As for the smirk, it really could go either way. He could have been playing Julie or just relieved that someone seemed to believe him. This has unexpectedly become my favorite current storyline in Salem.
3. Was Brady right to push Nicole to clear things up for Tate, or was he being insensitive to the fact that her comatose daughter had just woken up?
A: Neither is necessarily wrong. Nicole is trying to protect her daughter, who just came out of a coma, and Brady is frantic to clear his son and get him out of jail/rehab.
I do wish that Nicole was a little more empathetic. Brady is one of her best friends. You'd think she could at least assure him that they'd get more details from Holly as soon as she was able.
4. Friday's episode featured Tripp and Wendy near death and Paulina's family grieving for her. How did you feel about the level of sadness in this episode?
A: First, I don't believe any of them will actually die, so that takes much of the drama and sadness right out of it. But I did appreciate Lani and Chanel bonding together over their mother's plight.
If Tripp and Wendy were characters I actually cared about, it could have been compelling or romantic, but as a couple, these two have no chemistry. I just didn't care about any of it, which made it more tedious than sad.
5. Ava finally attempted to stand up to Clyde. Did you buy it, or what happened next?
A: I bought it; I just wish her plan had been better executed. She had to know Clyde wasn't going to make this easy. Why send her muscle away? Why not have them drag Clyde off to some remote location where she could torture him until he told her where to find Tripp?
6. What disappointed you, aggravated you, or made you roll your eyes on this week's Days of Our Lives?
A: Scene after scene of Tripp and Wendy waiting to die. It felt like such a fast-forward-worthy time waster.
7. What was your favorite scene, storyline, or quote from this week's Days of Our Lives?
A: Finding out that Everett was Robert Stine's middle name, and Lynch was his mother's maiden name. It's intriguing. Was Bobby just trying not to get caught cheating on his wife, or is there more to it? And does Everett really not remember, or is he playing everyone?
