This week's questions:
1. What really happened between Ava and Harris? Was she genuinely offended or are the two of them playacting? 2. Does it seem realistic that Marlena is always advising patients about their love lives? 3. Rate Johnny and Chanel's engagement so far from 1 (Completely boring and blah) to 10 (the most romantic storyline we've had in a long time.) 4. What did you think about Alex's pressuring Theresa to stay in Salem? 5. Do you agree with Brady that Kristen poisoning Rachel's mind against him? 6. What storyline, if any, bored you to tears this week? 7. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week?

1. What really happened between Ava and Harris? Was she genuinely offended, or are the two of them playacting?
A: Playacting. I think she finally told him the truth, but they had to cover because there may be a dirty cop in the Salem PD. Or at least I hope that's the case because I'm tired of this storyline not going anywhere.
2. Does it seem realistic that Marlena is always advising patients about their love lives?
A: Oye. These scenes are so boring. Marlena's scenes with Nicole were compelling, but Alex whining about Theresa is just tedious.
3. Rate Johnny and Chanel's engagement so far from 1 (Completely boring and blah) to 10 (the most romantic storyline we've had in a long time.)
A: I'll give it a 6 because I'm a fan of this couple, but I do wish their story had a little more drama, just not another love triangle.
4. What did you think about Alex's pressuring Theresa to stay in Salem?
A: Ugh. The only reason this couple is being pushed toward one another is so they can ramp up the drama of Theresa's big lie coming to light and breaking them apart. But Alex and Theresa have no real chemistry, and since we know they won't last, there's no reason to invest in them.
5. Do you agree with Brady that Kristen is poisoning Rachel's mind against him?
A: No, not technically. I don't think she wants Rachel to hate Brady. But keeping Rachel from Brady does have its consequences.
I really think that Rachel is tired of hearing her parents fight; that's the kind of thing that can really wear on a kid. But she'd likely prefer to see both her parents without the constant headaches.
6. What storyline, if any, bored you to tears this week?
A: Most of them were really boring this week! Tripp and Wendy, the geocaching event, Rafe and Jada, Alex and Theresa. Unfortunately, more was boring than wasn't.
7. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week?
A: The Spectator. Having Chad, Everett, Xander, and Leo all in the office was a treat. Also, Everett standing up for some journalistic integrity was a nice change of pace.

I have not caught up on episodes yet. I've only had a chance to watch Friday, so I'll respond do this one:
2. Does it seem realistic that Marlena is always advising patients about their love lives? Marlena should know better than to tell a patient he is in love. That is a conclusion for the patient to come to, not Marlena. Suppose it's not true? Just because Marlena says it, doesn't make it so. She should be asking questions, not giving commentary unless it is helping bring the patient to their own conclusions. I found it exceedingly irresponsible for her to tell Alex he's in love. In addition to all that, I haven't seen Alex appear to be in love with Theresa. Granted, I missed a few episodes this week. But it felt like Marlena was telling the audience that Alex and Theresa are in love. Telling, not showing. The audience should be able to figure it out for ourselves.

1. What really happened between Ava and Harris? Was she genuinely offended or are the two of them playacting?
A. I feel like it was playacting It was definitely portrayed this way, and I hope what ever it was ends this storyline so I don’t have to hear about the big bad hillbilly Clyde anymore 🤢
2. Does it seem realistic that Marlena is always advising patients about their love lives?
A. It’s realistic for marlenas obnoxious character but not realistic for a real life situation, as it’s been established, the people of Salem have very low expectations for a shrink as they all seem to think she’s competent, where incompetent is one of the nicest things I could say about her
3. Rate Johnny and Chanel's engagement so far from 1 (Completely boring and blah) to 10 (the most romantic storyline we've had in a long time.)
A. I’ll give it a 7. I love this couple a lot! I think the timing of it kind of sucks with her mom getting sick and hilly in hospital (although it might be nice to not see holly try and sabotage it)
4. What did you think about Alex's pressuring Theresa to stay in Salem?
A. I thought it was pathetic. Gwresa is not worth begging from anyone. I can’t even tell my brain this is Theresa cuz her character is completely different and ruined as far as I’m concerned
5. Do you agree with Brady that Kristen poisoning Rachel's mind against him?
A. No, I think Brady has poisoned Rachel’s mind against himself. Kristin is a terrible person yes but Brady is nearly worse, he never acknowledged the terrible things he’s done. He’s a failure as a parent, a significant other and an all over human being.
6. What storyline, if any, bored you to tears this week?
A. Anything with Tripp and Wendy was a snooze fest, I also found rafe a jada and Stephanie’s scene kind of a filler and very boring
7. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week?
A. I was enjoying Sarah and Xander until he got that annoying text. It would be nice to see this character evolve the way we know he can. I also enjoyed Johnny and Chanel Steve refusing to back down on a hunch was nice too, he seems to be the only one with a clue

1. Acting.
2. Not really, but then, neither does most of her psychiatric advice these last few years. She used to be a good psychiatrist, but the writers are not doing her any favors.
3. 5. Wasn't great, wasn't horrible.
4. She can make up her own mind whether she stays in Salem or not. Didn't see a point in him pressuring her to stay.
5. Absolutely! That is 100% something Kristen would do!
6. I have really no interest in Sloan or Leo as characters, so any of their scenes.
7. I really liked Paulina's reaction to Johnny and Chanel's engagement, moreso than the actual engagement.
