Been hearing rumblings that Gabi is being recast but I haven't seen anything concrete or source-able.

Been hearing rumblings that Gabi is being recast but I haven't seen anything concrete or source-able. I heard the actor who plays Lucas said so on a Cameo video but I can't find the Tweet reporting it now. There's an actress following most of the cast who seems likely to be the new Gabi but it hasn't been confirmed yet. |

I'm in favor of a Gabi recast if she has a storyline that doesn't involve the CEO merry-go-round at DiMera Enterprises.

They NEED to recast at this point even though she is one of a kind.
I can't stand constant references to characters who play a big part in storylines but are off screen and that is the case with Gabi right now.
Hard to believe, if true, that the new actor will match "Gabi." But I have to admit I am a bit curious. And my guess is they will get a very demonstrative (and hopefully funny) actor to fill the role.
