Do you tend to save the birthday cards you receive every year?

I only save the few cards my friend made for me as she’s very artistic and I know the time she puts into them But as far as regular bought ones I display it in the window for a day or two depending on when bin night is and then get rid I’m the opposite of a hoarder and love throwing stuff out cuz I hate clutter My husband literally reads the card, says “that’s nice” and chucks it in recycle because he’s actually worse than me for hating clutter

If something personal is written inside, then yes, I tend to save them. Christmas cards too.

It really depends. I used to save every single one of them. As I get older and more tired of things that collect dust, I've thrown quite a few away. The ones I've held on to are ones that had personal notes or that a couple from people who are no longer with us. I'm really glad I held on to them and made the decision later in life on what I wanted to keep vs what I wanted to get rid of. Looking back and seeing their handwriting has meant more to me now than it did at the time.

I completely agree mae00 about seeing their handwriting. I display the cards for a couple weeks before putting them away. I save the Christmas cards if they are photos or have personal notes.
