My grandson, Dalton, who is in 8th grade, called me one evening asking for cupcakes to take to school the next morning....we are the Seminole Chieftains so here's the cuppies I made him......and I freehanded them in buttercream frosting so no, they are not identical..!! ;D  |

Excellent job, PAllison. Freehand!?!  We have Seminole Indians around here too. They run the Hard Rock Cafe in Tampa. So we have Dalton, Davin, and Dylan. I think you are making up names of grandchildren just so you have an excuse to bake cupcakes. LOL. |

Thanks for all the compliments...!! kpatch, you have to add one more D to the bunch....DAX...!!! Then there is Kaden, how that name got in there I have no idea...!!! And my first grandchild, and only girl, is Allison..... Speaking of Allison, when she visits she likes to make cupcakes too, here is a pic of her with some she entered into a 4th of July cupcake contest...  And Dylan loves to help me make cupcakes and cakes...here's some cupcakes he decorated himself, with very little help from me...  Dalton's birthday cupcakes, spaghetti and meatballs...I added shaved white chocolate for the cheese after the pic....  And Kaden's Chinese take-out for his birthday....  |

Once upon a time I did some truly great work....outstanding wedding cakes and such....I could make flowers with the best of them...and do scroll work to rival Buddy...but alas, no more....my eye site, the strength in my hands, my stamina, my back, all have gone to heck and I just do simple little all occasion cakes and cupcakes now.....I do have a a circle of select customers and they keep me busier than I would like actually.....and by the way, the food cupcakes, I saw in a book, I did not dream them up....!!!
Thank you all for your compliments.....!! I've got a festival coming up April 2nd and will be doing the gourmet cupcakes....as many as possible...last festival, I made, if I remember correctly (see what I mean..??) close to a thousand cupcakes......I'm aiming for at least 800 this time.....I'll post pics.....
