Agreed! Clyde isn't a favorite of mine, but the actor does bring a certain charisma to the role.
And I remember liking James Read when he was on the North and South miniseries when I was a teenager in the 1980s. I read that book series and loved him in the role.

I've always loved James Read ever since the North and South series. I've also loved him as Clyde. I can't resist the bad boys. (bashful grin)
