Re-upping with Peacock: Help! (Read 281 times)

My free sub is about to run out. Can someone who's done it, explain in detail the process for getting a new paid sub? Do you have to cancel your current subscription first? Is there a way to prepay for entire year.

Please be very specific because I don't understand what I've read on their site and they don't provide a way to contact a live person for help.

Have not tried yet. It expires next week. I need to know what others are experiencing in upgrading or renewing or resubscribing.

Hi Kpatch I didn’t answer yet because I didn’t change my membership to an annual one. I pay monthly for now (maybe next year I can prepare better and save to do that) so I did nothing and it just renewed automatically. Can’t be much help with changing.

Hopefully someone else can be more help and you can get it figured out.

Did you have to put in any credit card information when you signed up? I understand that you got the free version, but when I did (also had the free one originally) I had to put in my credit card info. If yes, it should just automatically renew itself and show up as a monthly charge on your next credit card statement.

Thanks guys. No one else told me that I pretty much have to do nothing and the subscription will roll into the paid sub automatically. Thank you all! I wanted to pay for a year presuming there's a discount for prepaying but I can't find anything about that, so I'll just let it ride month to month.

Thank you again. If only Peacock were this helpful. I reached out to them via twitter and they kept sending me to their Help page which I had already visited and it was no help at all.

I got an email from Peacock - it read - Hi Steve, Amanda forwarded your email. No Steve here and I have no idea who Amanda is. Deleted the email. I never access sites thru email links.

I had to wait until my subscription expired completely. Then I was able to subscribe anew at the annual rate which is a discount over the month-to-month cost. It was easy and it's done! Yay.
