The actor portraying Philip may or may not be any good. Unlike Colin and Talia who instantly gave off back acting vibes.
My issue is he feels like a stand in for Philip and a color between the lines function of fulfilling plot points especially if you consider, if reports are correct, his stay will be temporary.
So, at this point if they brought in this actor to portray somebody new to Salem, I'm willing to give him a chance. As it is though I have my objections.
I didn't think it was a very good week overall but there were several standout moments especially from Gabi who was hilarious.
