I have no doubts Molly will leave. She is at the age when they all do it....after their first contract. That is why as a Molly/Melanie fan I was so pissed at how they wasted their last year with her. They could have given her so much more to do.

Just look at Shelley Hennig and Rachel Melvin's last year they were hardly given anything to do even Darin Brooks for that matter. |

Just look at Shelley Hennig and Rachel Melvin's last year they were hardly given anything to do even Darin Brooks for that matter. Darin won an Emmy his last year - they gave Max a family. Rachel was good until her last few months when they just threw her with Darin, before that she was in a storyline. And at least Stephanie was hiding in closets and helping propel angst. She had a love interest, and interaction....at least it wasn't completely dull. Melanie has been turned into a pod person - stuck with bad writing that totally disregards the character Molly helped bring to life. It is just poor luck she got stuck on the show during the reboot. |

I wouldn't be surprised if the rumor about Molly is true. But Bo and Hope? Love 'em or hate 'em, they are the only anchors on the show right now. A soap needs a family with history, and the Dimeras do not fit that bill. They don't need to use Bo and Hope a lot. Let them do other projects, that's fine. But don't get rid of them. That makes no sense to me. What about John and Marlena? |

If the writers get rid of Bo and Hope they are dumb. Like kpatch said, they are the only anchor on the show. They are getting rid of Jack, so no Jack and Jen, and Lexie is leaving. John and Marlena could be the anchors but I really don't see it. Maybe they could be, but I am just not that big of fans of theirs. I would much rather watch Bo and Hope than them. Molly leaving doesn't surprise me. She has no story really and her insta-family has all but disappeared. The only way I would see her staying is if JKJ came back and even then that is a stretch.

It it is not Bo and Hope I think it should Doug and Julie. |

I won't be surprised a bit if Molly leaves. As someone said, the younger actors usually leave at the end of their first contract. Some actors have left who were involved in big stories like Peter and Kristian.

Someone did inform these writers that they are writing for DAYS right?? Not a different soap? By potentially getting rid of the historical families, you don't have DAYS anymore. All of these "new" characters, materializing out of no where (Lexie's so called half-brother, Daniel & Mel being Maggie's family, etc.) they are NOT preserving DAYS, or even doing a reset..........they are doing a major rebuild minus some very important pieces.
