The majority of the ones I’ve met, I’ve met at conventions, such as Comic Con or Chicago TARDIS (a Doctor Who themed convention). I’ve met four, technically five actors from Doctor Who, as well as two actors from The Walking Dead.
Also, I now work at one of the bigger radio stations in the Seattle area, so I’ve met a handful of minor local celebrities from there.

I've interviewed a handful of actors for TV Fanatic.
I also met Daniel Cosgrove at a fan event he did once.

I've met some local celebs before but I don't recall ever meeting a well known celebrity. If I did, it wasn't memorable enough to remember it.

My husband worked as a theater manager for many years before I met him and he's seen Burt Reynolds, Michael J. Fox, Nancy McKeon and Morgan Fairchild among others. Also Jay Leno, whom he spoke to when he was tearing his ticket. He said, "You're Jay Leno!" to which Jay Leo replied "You're the theater manager!" lol. My nephew met Kevin Costner at the restaurant he worked at. And posed for a picture with him. I don't know if anyone here has heard of Sweet Brown but she became a local celebrity here in Oklahoma City after she was interviewed after a fire at the apartments she lived at. Her personality was so animated she was on commercials and a few other things. I met her at a Winco supermarket a couple of years ago at Christmastime at the checkout. I looked at her and she said "Do you know who I am?" And I said Sweet Brown and she laughed and talked to me and the cashier for a couple of minutes and even took a selfie with the cashier. She wished us Merry Christmas. She was very nice. I also almost met Phyllis Diller once when I was a kid. Me and some of my sisters were on a business trip with my mom and dad in Kansas City. Phyllis Diller was getting on an elevator at the hotel we were staying at. She was in a Circus they were having in town. My sisters saw her get on the elevator but I did not. It would have been fun to see her but oh well.

That actually reminded me soaps4ever my dad used to own a restaurant down town Toronto years ago like I was maybe 6 or 7 years old The movie life with Mikey was filming and they paid my dad to shut down for certain hours of the day because the fan was too loud But we met the cast of that movie Of course I was a little kid and didn’t mean much at the time

One I saw but not met. I saw Lily Tomlin outside a hotel in NYC. She was on the phone so we just exchanged waves and smiles. I remember thinking how much prettier she was in person than on TV. At that time, she was on West Wing so maybe her character was meant to be plainer.

Although I've spoken with several actors in phone interviews for my job with TVFanatic.com, I've only met a few in person.
I got to spend the day on the set of the USA network show White Collar where I met Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, and Willie Garson. I spent the least time with Tim, but he was very nice. Willie Garson (also on Sex and the City) was so down to earth and fun to just hang out with. I was so sad to hear about his passing in 2021.
And Matt Bomer was both nice and even more gorgeous in person. They were filming on a rooftop and the sun was blazing that day. Matt shared his sun umbrella with me between takes and, besides the interview questions, we chatted about Broadway shows we'd seen.
I also got to meet Susan Sullivan when she played Martha Rogers on Castle. I'd been a fan of Susan's since she starred on Falcon Crest when I was a kid. I met her when she was in a production of Steel Magnolias near me. Previously, I'd had one of my favorite interviews on the phone with her. As I was reviewing Castle for work, I'd requested the interview with her. Usually, once the interview is set up, the Publicity rep puts the call through, listens the entire time, and ends the call after about 10 minutes. Well, Susan called me from her personal cell and we spoke for over half an hour. As a longtime fan, she was everything I could have hoped.

I met Bryan Dattilo and Stephanie Cameron back when I was in middle school. They were doing a fan appearance not far from my house. My best friend and I had gone. Bryan Dattilo was super sweet. He kissed me on the cheek, and he talked to my friend and I for quite some time after the vent had ended. We were going out the handicapped accessible enterance to the building, and Bryan’s limo was parked there, and he took the time to talk to us. That was a really fun day. I’ve also met Eva LaRue and John Callahan from All My Children at an Eva LaRue fan club event in NYC. My mom has also taken me to the General Hospital Fan Fantasy weekend events when they’ve come to Cleveland, and I had the chance to meet some actors from General Hospital.

I meet quite a few cast and crew from The High Chaparral when I attended the Reunions from 2013-2017. Producer, Kent McCray, and his wife, Susan Sukman McCray, a casting director, attended as well. Susan McCray also brought some of the cast from Little House and The Virginian. All the actors who attended were so down to earth, as were the stunt men and the stunt woman.
Actor Don Collier was a hoot, and wow, did he still have his beautiful blue eyes! Such a sweetheart and he took pics with everyone and kissed all the ladies. I got my picture with him, got to play Victoria Cannon, in a skit with him, and one time, he even called me on the phone to thank me for all my hard work. I did volunteer work for the reunions and was the webmaster for their website. Henry Darrow was still handsome with his gorgeous, dimpled smile and he was such a gentleman. The first time we meet he took my hand, spoke to me in Spanish, calling "Senorita" and kissed my hand! I about died! The last time we got to visit for a few minutes and then when both leaned into to kiss each other on the cheek, we accidently turned the same direction and kissed on the mouth. ROTFL!! Told my husband when I got home...sorry honey, I been kissed by another man besides you, now. He just grinned.
The final reunion in 2017, which was The High Chaparral 50th Anniversary, was blast and held in Burbank, CA. instead of in Tucson AZ. A group of ladies and I were all partying (pizzas and wine) in a hotel room when there was a small earthquake! I saw my friend kind of lose her balance and fall softly back into the dresser and thought it was because maybe she had too much wine! Not realizing it was a small earthquake! I can't believe I didn't even feel it but then again, we were all laughing so hard, and I have a bit of vestibular neuritis, so everything is always kind of rocking for me! ROTFL
So many wonderful and treasured memories!
