SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, EXAMINATION ROOM

Chloe is sitting on an examining table wearing a hospital gown and waiting for the doctor. There’s a knock on the door and she assumes it’s Dr. Bader, but it’s not.
Chloe: Come in.
Hope walks in holding Wesley.
Hope: I thought you could use some company.
Chloe gasps and holds out her arms. Hope puts Wesley in his mother’s arms and she holds him close and showers him with kisses.
Chloe: Oh my sweet little angel. Come here. Oh my god, I thought I’d never see you again. Hope, thank you. Thank you for taking care of him and for bringing him to me here.
Hope: It was no trouble. He’s a good boy.
Chloe: I know. And he’s been through so much in his little life.
Dr. Bader: Knock knock. You ready for me?
Hope: I’ll take Wesley outside to Philip so the three of you can go home together.
Chloe: Thanks Hope.
Hope leaves.
Dr. Bader: I understand you’ve been through a lot. Why don’t you tell me what happened so I know what tests to perform.
 

WAITING ROOM

Hope gives Wesley to Philip.
Philip: Thanks Hope. What did Chloe say when she saw Wes?
Hope: She was overwhelmed. So happy. You okay?
Philip: I’m fine. Just worried about her. That’s all.
Hope: Well, if you need anything, you know that you can always call me and Bo.
Philip: I will. Thanks Hope.

So sweet she finally got to see Wesley

On a side note, why do most people assume that Daniel still just wants to grope Chloe even after how she hurt him..I highly doubt it. I am sure he was just trying to be nice and he is a very good doctor.

Glad that she got to see Wesley. I love how the doctor asked her to tell him everything that happened so that he would know what tests to perform. Hopefully Chloe will tell him everything and if she has a hard time talking about it realize that she may need to see a counselor.

Dr. Bader started off great with Chloe. Asking the open ended question to not only see what tests need to be done, but to assess how she is coping with everything that has happened. So great that Chloe got to see Wes. Can't wait to see what Chloe tells the doc and to find out if she and the baby are ok.

POLICE CAR, BACK SEAT

A police cruiser is driving Chloe, Philip and Wesley home.
Philip: So Dr. Bader gave you a clean bill of health. That’s great news.
Chloe: I know.
Philip: Everything’s okay with the baby?
Chloe: That’s what she said.
Philip: Good. Good.
 

THE LAKE HOUSE

They’ve arrived home and Chloe hesitantly walks into the house.
Chloe: Everything looks so strange. It feels like I’ve been gone for years. What happened over there?
Philip follows Chloe’s line of sight to the living room sofa.
Philip: Oh that. I may have spilled some scotch. Broke a glass or two.
Chloe: Oh.
Philip: Don’t worry. I’ll clean it up.
Chloe: I’m gonna take Wesley upstairs.
Philip: Let me know when you’re hungry. I’ll make us something to eat.

Philip watches her go upstairs and he’s at a loss. She feels distant and he’s not sure how to reach her or even if he should try. Should he just give her space and let her come to him? This was new territory and he didn’t have a clue. He thought about calling Marlena but immediately dismissed that awful thought.

A couple hours passed and Philip went to check on Chloe and Wes. He walked into Wes’s room.
Philip: What’s going on?
Chloe: Oh, you mean the flip bed? I moved it in here. I’m going to sleep in Wesley’s room. I just don’t want to be away from him.
Philip: If you don't want to be away from him, we can move the flip bed into our room for Wes. Break the rules in the baby rulebook just this once. You’ll be more comfortable in your own bed.
Chloe: That’s not necessary. This is fine.
Philip: Chloe …
Chloe: What?
Philip: Nevermind. Good night.

Philip walked into their bedroom and sat on the bed with his hands folded and his head down. She obviously didn’t want to be anywhere he was, didn’t want anything to do with him.
Philip: What the hell happened to her over there?

Poor Philip and Chloe. I knew she was halding it in, but thought that would improve after she got safely home. Glad that she and the baby are ok. I think Chloe needs some therapy. I did not see what happened with Dr. Bader, but wonder if she offered Chloe any help? Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. Looking forward to tomorrow's chapter.

I feel so bad for both of them. I wonder where Kate and Victor are now. The thought of them still on the loose can't be making things easier for Chloe or Philip.
