I was fortunate enough to attend a screening/panel discussion about the Will storyline held in Los Angeles last week, co-sponsored by Days and Outfest. I did a write-up for my blog, which you can read here if you're interested: whathappensinsalem.wordpress.com/2012/04/02/dool-outfest-a-coming-out-celebration/. Also: my friend and I got to chat with Lauren Koslow, and she looks AMAZING and is so friendly and funny. And she was wearing blue pants to match her hair.

Thanks for sharing your experience at the Q&A, Mikey. It sounds like an amazing day. I'm glad you had the chance to be there. It had to be surreal to be watching the show with members of the cast.

Great article Mikey. I love knowing that Lauren is so congenial, and the cast is really supportive of the story and encouraging to Chandler.
I got a good laugh out of your description of the photo you took:
If nothing else, I’ve presented visual evidence that I have, at some point, been in a setting in which seven people sat on a stage, somewhere, in some chairs.

Oooooo, I'm so jealous!! I'd heard this was coming up. As I live on the East Coast, being able to be there was never an option, so I really appreciate the write up! Being the good little LBGT that I am, yay for all the Outfest support this is getting and Yay you for getting to be there; however...being the bigger DOOL fan that I am, SQUEEEEEEEEEEE, you got to meet Kate live and in person!!! I mean, yeah, Chandler's a great actor, go gay story line, blah blah blah, but SQUEEEEEEEE KATE!!!!!! Seriously, I'm dying. I would have just passed out. That's why I can't go to those kinds of things even if they were close to me, I would have vomitted on Kate's shoes, which were probably fabulous, then passed out. Ok, I've calmed down, a bit. Thanks for the write up Mikey, it really was awesome. And I soooo can't wait for the spoilers to happen, I already have so much to say on just that little tidbit you dropped.

Thanks for checking it out, gang! We were soooo excited to meet her. Of course, I had to play it (too) cool and just took a pic of my friend with her, rather than posing for one myself. Grrrr. But we spent a few minutes talking to her about the whole "Queen of the Night" thing between her and Marlena, and she seemed to think it was hilarious. I got the impression that she really enjoys her job, which made me really happy.
