Jenn is a goody two shoes and she is going to take the side of her new friend and savior. Chloe was married to her half brother and althought Jenn doesn't know her, she must know that it was Chloe who was unfaithful so I am sure there is no love lost there. She probably doesn't know all the details like who Chloe was unfaithful with.

I'm late to the party, but I have to put in my two cents. I get that it makes you mad, jkjpatch...because part of it is that Jenn was putting down Philip too (like he'd ever have an STD! :snort:). Of course it's unfair that Dan gets a pass for the affair with Chloe while he doggedly and unethically pursued her as a patient and Chloe gets janked by Vivian and Carly the homewrecker, seeks some reassurance from her only real friend and whoops...well, I agree, it's TOTALLY not right. I mean who could resist Philip after all? But this is Days and they have whitewashed Daniel's past totally. Let him save Johnny's life, not once, but twice. ANd he saves Rafe and Jennifer too? I while agree with you guys that this is part of Jennifer's character, I think she's part of the whitewashing too. May have even been brought in for that purpose (well, that and she's trying to help Maggie save the Hortons from extinction). If Dan hooks up with a Horton, he's like gold. They finally found the "Horton" legacy doctor.
For me, and maybe for some of you too, it's the way the wrote him in the beginning that's the problem, not so much the way he's written now. I could like the guy if I didn't have flashbacks of him telling Bo how hot his wife was as Bo was dying from pancreatic cancer. Or him feeling up Chloe while she was giving her marrow to her mother-in-law, with whom the good doc was doing the horizontal mambo. And that's if I let him off the hook for Chelsea and Kate. But since he is one of the very few men in town, we'll have to see...
