Don't get me wrong,I love that she was trying to stand up for a friend,and I'm not going to speak for anyone else on the board,but for myself,from my perspective,I feel she really should have taken a step back for a moment and LISTENED when Daniel tried to tell her it took BOTH of them to ruin the marriage.Daniel was for once trying to take some responsibility for creating a situation,and that's why I gave him credit.What she did WAS classic Jenn though,so...and don't all gasp at once....I WILL give the writers credit for writing a scene that was true to Jenn's character,lol.

I think that part of the problem that we (the audience) have is that we know too much. We were there when we watched Chloe and Phil (and Vivian's role). We take sides.
Jennifer wasn't there. And yes, one could argue "well, then she needs to keep her mouth shut", but then we'd have to say that about everything.

We DO get the benefit of seeing all parties involved, for the most part, so we know a whole lot more than the characters do. |

She could have said "Daniel, don't put all the blame on yourself. I am sure Chloe also had a big part in it"
Comforting by saying he was all wrong, is being deceitful not comforting. It's like saying, yes that dress looks wonderful on you, but in reality it makes you look like a beached whale. So you could just say "It's a pretty color but maybe this other one is more you"

I think they're trying to paint Jennifer as oblivious to Daniel's faults so it's easier for her to fall for him. After all, he's the knight in shining armor that litteraly saved her life. I'm sure there's a bit a hero worship going on.

sportsgirl-yeah, you're right, and I think that she could have been more diplomatic about the way she said it. DancingDays-I agree, sadly. I hope that if the do continue to pair Dan and Jenn together, that she will use her journalistic nature to interrogate the heck out of him to admit to his past indiscretions so that she has the bigger picture.

Jennifer in the past has excused Jack's shotty behaviour many times,so I'm really not sure she wouldn't do the same for Daniel.With the way she kept cutting him off when he tried to admit to his own mistakes,I would think it's a pretty safe bet.

No I know he did.I'm just saying,it's Jenn's natural tendancy to do it,lol.I think Daniel's natural tendancy is to get up in someone's face unless he's sleeping with them,lol.

Didn't Kate do that to him a couple of times to taunt him...seems like one of 'em was in jail once and Kate treated him like that....and then another time on the pier.....of course, he probably thought it was a compliment.....
