Enjoyed Roundtable. There is one in every crowd, but I am not magically touched by the nostalgia Days is wading in at the moment. From my perspective Soaps weren't any better or worse than the present day and if memory serves, they were a bit more earnest and less witty back in the day.
So, the whole prospect of Bo and Hope "reuniting" doesn't exactly light my fire. And while flashbacks might stir some curiosity, I just can't get all that excited about them but that is just me. If fans enjoy them well, please indulge and don't let me sour your fun.
That said I am not allergic to nostalgia per say. If someone starts waxing about rock and pop music from say 1966-1993 or so, then I might get a little misty eyed. Like the "Laurel Canyon" documentary I saw when I was getting a premiere cable channel for free a few weeks back.
That said I am still pissed off they canceled "All My Children." Ha.
