Is anyone else frustrated with the show?
I’m a long time viewer and I’m so frustrated with the lack of development when it comes to new characters. The show keeps bringing veterans back to carry the show instead of bringing in new characters and developing compelling storylines.
Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing some of the older beloved characters from yesterday, but really wish Days would put effort into writing in new characters and fresh content. Not just new characters for a moment and to prop veteran stories. I miss the real drama and super couple relationship build.

Honestly I'm also frustrated with what's happening with the show because I definitely feel like the new characters aren't as well developed and fleshed out as they used to be in the past and that's really sad because a lot of them have real potential if the writers would just give them a real chance. Also I'm getting this distinct feeling that the reason why there seems to be so much emphasis on veteran characters and stories lately is because maybe the writers realize deep down that the newbies just aren't good enough to actually stand on their own. I know that seems very harsh but that's the truth.

You might be onto something, but I think it’s the writers’ faults for not developing stories or seeing a compelling story through.
I don’t feel like they know what to do with their new characters.
