Excellent Roundtable. I too was glad Xander told Gwen the truth which of course hurts but hopefully it is for the best. Gwen's growth as a person is stunted by being in a seemingly dead in relationship with Xander. Xander probably understands that too and was trying to let her down gently.
That said I hope Gwen doesn't pick up the pieces with Alex in a sexual way. That sounds like a disaster.
To me nothing this week topped the exchange between Leo and Gwen about couple's names "Xarah" and "Gwender." A brilliantly clever interlude that was one of those one-two knockout comedy moments. Not to mention a call out for the Days fans who came up with the "Xarah" name.
