Maggie is the new CEO of Titan! Who saw that coming? heroicmuse and I are joined by wendylou to debate Maggie's new job, Sarah leaving Salem, Brady's treatment of Chloe, and if they're rooting for Ericole or Ejole? Great round table, guys. wendylou, you and I think alike! I have mixed feelings about Maggie being CEO. She never showed any interest before. And her experience running a farm was 50 years ago. Even her restaurant experience isn't real recent. She doesn't seem real interested even now. She should be taking the job very seriously but instead she spent a whole episode trying to convince Alex she's worthy of the title. I agree that Alex's sex life is irrelevant. Victor's been involved in plenty of scandals over the years. A lot of people said farewell this week. Jack, Jen, Will, Sonny, Allie. I guess they are making room for some other characters, but I think there are still too many on canvas. Allie showed her lack of maturity by not bothering to say goodbye to her twin brother. Sarah better not keep the baby from Xander. Maybe she wants to get back at him for not telling her Mackenzie had died. I was most disappointed that Chloe gave Brady the time of day. He played god with Stefan, and Stefan's love for Chloe has nothing whatsoever to do with whether Chloe chooses to be with Brady. She's not the one who got brainwashed. I used to love Chloe but she has lost her edge. wendylou made a great point about Gabi having the prerogative to get out of the contract by simply giving Li his shares back and moving on with her life. At this point I find both Wendy Shin and Stephanie Johnson unlikeable characters.

Enjoyed the Roundtable. Although the beginning of the week stuttered to a start, things improved as the week went on.
Amazing what some "Back to Basics" can accomplish. But the Sci-fi spaceship is still hovering so we might run into some more turbulence.
That said I am in a better state of mind going into this week than I was last Sunday.
But that is no guarantee of too much given the way this show can lurch into directions that are not palpable. Or plausible.

Great roundtable wendylou, heroicmuse, and ProudTVJunkie. I agree that the way Victor treated women he doesn't like is far worse than Alex having consensual sex with multiple women.
