Xfinity Peacock pay changes (Read 350 times)

Bad news. Is there any kind of other news?

Xfinity will start charging regular customers, like me, for Peacock starting I believe in June. Whether it will be the full rate, or a discounted rate is yet to be determined. I suspect it will be discounted. I am hoping that it is discounted that is for sure.

Like many the LAST thing I need is added expenses. But unless Days alienates me to the point of no return, I will bite the bullet. What is a little more to add to my growing debt.

Disappointing news and I hope we don't lose any members with this move. Grab, grab, grab, everything is going up and the customers are paying the price.

I have watched a few other things on Peacock but if it wasn't for Days, I would not pay for it. Albeit I understand they plan on broadcasting some of the Women's World Cup and Big Ten football along with other sporting events in 2023, which will be of interest to me.

I spoke with Xfinity today and it seems come June 26th, if you are a subscriber getting it for free right now, you will have to resubscribe in order to take advantage of their discount for one year. If you resubscribe on your TV at that time, you can get it for 3 bucks a month instead of the 5 that is the going rate, good for one year.

Not deadly but annoying none the less.

We have come a long way baby. Back in the day when there were what like 10 or more Soap Operas on TV would anyone ever have guessed you would have to pay to see one. Bring back the old days please.

Yeah, all these streaming services are getting expensive, esp since they all have one or two hit shows but a flat platform overall. If it weren’t for DOOL I would not subscribe to Peacock.

I watch a lot of shows and movies on Peacock. All this does is push me toward downgrading my Comcast account.
