Gabi remembered everything! Sarah learned the truth. Salem rang in 2023, and John Aniston's last scenes aired on Days of Our Lives. heroicmuse and I are joined by André DiMera to debate our favorite Victor Kiriakis' moments, if Sarah will leave Xander for good, Stefan's reaction to the news he's been brainwashed, and which couples they're rooting for in Salem in 2023.

Enjoyed the Roundtable.
As for couples even though Ava and Philip are in Siberia right now if they do comeback then Philip back with Chloe and the door closed to Brady once and for all. Also, I wouldn't mind Rafe and Ava again. And Sarah and Xander are the most comical of couples so it would be foolish for Days to break them up permanently.
Johnny and Wendy seem OK so far. As for his ex-Chanel, part of the tepid lesbian Salem couple I say a step up. I have lost patience with both Chanel and Allie, two shallow twits. I hope they get in a knock down drag it out fight before splitting up for good. Plus, they get extra deduction points for that awful threesome with Alex.
Sexually fluid Kristen would make a much more interesting half of a lesbian couple. Why not Nicole? They sure would make an edgy and far more interesting sapphic couple than the vacuous Chanel and Allie pairing. But that is a long shot to say the least since they can't stand one another.
As for a couple I would love to see I say Gwen and Brady. I know they travel in different circles, but I would be interested in their chemistry. They both have a troublesome side, but I think they would make a turbulent but passionate couple in much the same way as Brady's relationship with batty Theresa.
So, in the end no Brady/Kristen or Brady/Chloe. Two pairings I never want to see again.
[Super late edit] While I don't know where Eric and Sloan are headed (perhaps Salem's "bad couple") I wouldn't mind seeing Chad and Sloan hook up like a James Bond pair.
