Wow! Gabi's wedding became a must-see drama when Gabi began to recall Rolf's confession about brainwashing Stefan. Wedding disasters are so common in Salem that Jada might have been serious when she said she studied them during her police academy training. Despite the silly premise of this brainwashing story, Gabi's realization that her new husband had betrayed her on Days of Our Lives during the week of 12-26-22 was one of the best, most riveting reveals the soap has ever had. www.tvfanatic.com/2022/12/days-of-our-lives-review-for-the-week-of-12-26-22-gabi-regains-h/-- Read the rest and then come back and share your thoughts! I am glad my suspicions were confirmed. Quote "seemed like the wedding was interrupting the party." From "heroicmuse." The ole wedding ceremony and reception venue in a joint exercise. Ha.
Not only baffled a bit by that but also the strange almost surreal bluish dim filter Photog look at the venue. Gave off a bit of a strange underworld effect. But I'm sure these cinematographic tricks aren't cheap so kudos for Days and Peacock for sprucing things up.
That said it seemed just a touch out of focus. Back to the edit room people. Ha.
I have noticed Days upped their visual eye candy ante a lot in scenes in the woods as was the case when Sarah confronted Xander and Gwen this week.
Also, the use of a bathing blue light. The most stunning example was when Rafe helped a knocked-out Gwen after she was run over in front of the police station.
They also used some blue photography tricks with that dreadful threesome scene.
So, it seems to me Days is raising their game at times in terms of cinematography which I am delighted to see.
