Do you leave your Christmas Tree lit up all night? I don't leave mine on.
This week when driving my daughter to school at 6:50am I counted five houses in my neighborhood that had a lit up Christmas tree in their front window. That made me wonder if it's common for people to leave their tree lit all night.

I leave it on for parts of the day but never all night long unless it is Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day

Most people seem to have their lights off during the night, although there are a few houses that have their lights on when I wake up. I have most of my interior Christmas lights on timers, so they don't stay on during the night either.

Most of my christmas lights are on from 5:30 to midnight. I LOVE my timers!! LOL I don't have to go out in the cold or rain to unplug/turn off any of them  My tree is hit and miss. For the most part, it's on most of the day. There are some nights where I leave it on just because I forget to hit the button to turn it off (it has a foot switch on it). Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it's on the whole time. |
