So I may have given myself an early Xmas present in the form of a flight to LA this weekend. Long story short, Day of Days was AWESOME!

 So I turned into a nervous, squeaky mess talking with these two (they were the first autograph table I went to and I was still in fangirl/can't believe I'm here mode) but they couldn't have been kinder, and after the woman behind me in line took this pic (and I moved over to be squeaky and nervous in front of Shawn and Belle) Deidre called me back over by name (which was totally an 'is this real life?' moment. Like Marlena freaking Evans wants to talk to me again, ME?) and said we should do a retake of the photo because I still had my mask under my chin and she was looking at me, not the camera. So we got this pic instead.   I just got autographs from MM and BB, she is an absolute sweetheart and we chatted about Peacock and how we were rewatching 30 Rock and The Office, and looking BB in the eye was like looking directly into the sun, like I couldn't handle the sheer handsomeness that was happening.  These two were absolute gems. There was a mom with two young kids a few spots ahead of me in line and Patrika accidentally swore in front of them, then went bright red and covered her mouth and apologized like fifty times. JE was super chatty and friendly and is just an all around lovely/gorgeous human being. Also you can see my swag bag in this pic. They gave us water bottles, a visor, commemorative pins, a little box to hold the autograph cards, and donuts! Also RB is stunning and so sweet, and ditto for ZT. He told me he liked my look.   THESE TWO. So their autograph session was in the afternoon. I got to have some lunch and a beer and get out of the sun and thought I'd be cool and chill by the time I got through the line. Unfortunately my voice still did the squeaky thing, and I teared up. I told them though I was in from Chicago and Mary Beth started asking what neighborhood and told me the part of town she lived in with her husband for a bit and just, was amazing and lovely and SO BEAUTIFUL. Also SN smiled at me and I smiled back and my brain completely short circuited. I also got this pic taken by a woman who had a Patch and Kayla tote bag who had clearly attended many of these events over the years. I think SN and MBE knew her by name. There was also a mom with her kids in line near me, both little girls, one of whom had on a hat and a little brown leather jacket because she was dressed up as cowboy Steve, and the other one had on a red sequin "lady in red" dress. One of the cutest things I've seen in my entire life.  This guy was super cool too. I actually was waiting for my Uber outside a hotel lobby after the event and he was standing a few feet away from me waiting for his Uber too! I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be that person, but it was pretty cool all the same.  I have a few more scattered pics I'll upload at some point, but these were some of the highlights for me! |

That is sooo cool misfit. I'm so happy for you that you got to go and it was everything you hoped it would be. I can just imagine how it must have felt to meet Stephen and Mary Beth especially since they are your favorites! It's nice to know that the actors are warm and friendly to their fans. Thank you for sharing the photos and the stories that go with each one. |
