If you like British mystery or just any mysteries in general, there is a new one on PBS Masterpiece theater that I’m really liking. It’s called Magpie Murders. It airs on Sundays but you can watch it on their app too.
It’s kind of like two mysteries in one. A popular mystery writer is killed just after turning in his last book…with the last chapter missing. The show goes back and forth telling the mystery that takes place in the book and the mystery of what happened to the last chapter of his book and whether the writer was murdered, possibly because of something in the book. He put lots of people he knew into his books so the actors play dual roles a lot. I think it’s pretty cute.
Only two episodes out so far.

I’m watching and reading the book at the same time. Not sure if this is a good idea but time will tell. I subscribe to Britbox and Acorn streaming services so I watch a lot of British mysteries.
