Rafe blew up at Nicole! Kristen blackmailed Brady. Marlena, Kayla, and Kate were saved for the moment. And Gwen made out with a pillow this week in Salem.

Superb Roundtable. One of the best. Mikey should think about being a comedy writer. Some funny quips.
The "Damsels in Distress" storyline dribbled to a semi finish. This was doomed from the start. They stepped in the manure right from the get-go. It looked for a period like the "men" would come to the rescue. And then a witch "Kristen" was injected into the proceedings. Mysigonist tropes abounded.
A simple tweak would have at least made the story a bit more palatable. Why were all the victims WOMEN? They should have had two women and one man infected. Heck COVID affected men more than women. It is like Days is locked in some sort of time warp.
And out of the three Steve would have been the obvious choice since there were more of his family members involved and his wife is a doctor. John wouldn't work well. He is half ill anyway. And frankly he and his bozo wife Marlena somehow couldn't figure out that Kristen was behind the antidote. Not sure that "tweak" would have made a huge difference but at least it would have avoided the "Damsels in Distress" charge.
Last week was generally mediocre but the middle part of the week gives me hope that going forward Days hasn't completely lost it.
