Just for fun, fill in the blank. What would you like to see in Salem? Can be a person, place or thing. Your choice.
I'll start. I'd love to see a teacher in Salem. The closest thing we got was Mr. Woods during the Last Blast era and the 2007? reunion. But he wasn't a main character. It would be fun if one of the returning characters was a teacher. There are too many corporate types, all coming in at CEO level or some other high level executive position. It would be nice to see characters in ordinary jobs. Grocer, waste management, customer service. You get the idea.
Your turn.

Oooh, I love this.
I would love to see someone who genuinely decides to be child-free, and it isn't a 'wrong' choice. Just an adult who has relationships -- romantic, sexual, all of it -- and has thought through the idea of parenting and has decided it's not for them. I know pregnancy and babies are a useful story engine for a soap, but I'd love to see a diversity of standpoints on the concept of parenting and what makes a family.
On a similar note, I wish they HAD let Allie give up Henry for adoption and then spent years navigating that in a subtle way, if Will and Sonny or Rafe (ugh) or someone was raising her child, and she knew it was the correct choice for her to have made but still felt an attachment to the child and situation.

Having a teacher in Salem would be a great addition. Chloe’s sister, Joy could come to Salem, and she could be a teacher, Rachel’s teacher to fit into an already established story. I’d also like to see a character have a pet. Maybe someone have a dog or a cat. We never see characters have pets. It would be nice just to see that ordinary part of life play out on screen. The only real pet that I remover watching on daytime was Harold the dog on All My Children. Give someone in Salem a cuddly dog or cat.

Nicole had a dog a looong time ago. Since most people in Salem live in a hotel they probably wouldn’t be allowed to have pets. But it would be nice.
I’d like to see someone in Salem actually finish or eat a meal they order. They usually just sit in front of full plates of food and leave them that way. I’m kind of joking but also not because this small thing actually is something I find extremely distracting. I’ve always thought is was for the sake of continuity- so they don’t have half a burger at one point but then later have a full plate if they re-shoot - but they should just make the plates empty or almost empty at the end of the scenes. Also, they clearly don’t care much about continuity since they have women’s nail polish or lipstick change mid-scene sometimes. For ex, this week Gabi had on that green dress. One day she had hideous purple lipstick. Next day, same dress and scene but more neutral lipstick.
Also, more reg characters with homes, not hotels. And more season-appropriate clothing. Also, more outdoor shots.
I know these are small things but for me those small details make a difference.

It looks like their going to do that again on peacock. www.4shared.com/video/c9aSVLGEea/Days_of_Our_Lives_-_19971028.html?

I would like bigger sets, homes, not hotels. Houses and apartments. Also, outdoor shoots. It would be great.
