Since I am always wrong, have no fear. But now that thankfully Jennifer has been ruled out in being involved in the crash my goofy mind has come up with another scenario.
There seems to be three left that were probably involved in the crash. EJ, Ava and Susan.
As if the bad blood between EJ and Ava was bad enough it could get a whole lot worse. My take is this. Ava "accidentally" runs Susan off the road forcing her off the cliff into a fiery explosion that kills Susan, EJ's mom.
EJ suspects or knows Ava was responsible and vows revenge. Which is why we see Ava in a carefully disguised wig sitting with her back turned to Xander in another Peacock promo. Ava is essentially on the run.
I guess the only thing worth discussing here is how far off the mark I am off this go around. Ha.
