Abigail's killer was found, and EJ shot him! EJ and Chad bonded over attempted murder. Gwen was run down in front of the police station. And Chloe insisted Brady was the love of her life. heroicmuse and I are joined by Trey to rate the murder storyline, decide if Clyde should have died, and debate what Jack will do if Jennifer hit Gwen this week in Salem.

Informative Roundtable as usual. Some real highs and real lows this week but overall, an interesting week and it seems the murder mystery is over and so too is Chad wandering around in a fog.
I fear Days will use the poison story as their number one focus in the coming weeks. They need to inject another big storyline but frankly I don't see anything on the horizon. So, I am apprehensive that the show will go into a stall mode but I'm hoping they deliver the goods as they often do when things look down and out.

Excellent round table and I agreed with most everything everyone said, except EJ's inappropriate comment about wanting to shoot Clyde. That gives me chills, especially how flippant it was. The world is violent enough without soap characters making light of guns and murder.
I'm glad Clyde didn't die. I find him to be an interesting and complex character. I feel like making him the killer was a last minute decision. He had no motive to harm either Abigail or Sonny and the reasons they gave him were flimsy and unconvincing. Really? He couldn't find Belle so he killed Abby. It was a really disappointing end to a storyline I didn't much care about. I never warmed up to Marci Miller's Abby and am fine to have her off my screen. She had chemistry with no one.
The Jennifer's addiction story is another disappointment. As others on the panel noted, it's just a weak story to redeem Gwen. Not buying it.
As for Chloe and Brady's relationship, it's pretty lukewarm. Feels like they both go through the motions without any heart behind it. I wish I thought Philip was the love of Chloe's life but she treated him poorly and never took responsibility for her actions in driving Philip crazy. Hate to say it, but Daniel may have been the love of her life. Bleh.
