What couples have you rooted for (lately or ever) that Days has ruined.
I'll start.
Philip and Chloe recently.
Sami and Lucas.
Johnny and Chanel.
Allie and Tripp.
Johnny and Ava.
Paul and Sonny.

I'll go way, way back. Kimberley and Shane. They kept breaking them up. And at one point, they put Shane and Kayla together, which was horrible and completely out of character. I was a big fan of Kim and Shane, and their eventual reconciliation mostly took place off camera after both actors had left. 
RoJohn (John when he thought he was Roman) and Diana Colville. Drake Hogestyn and Genie Francis had amazing chemistry. I was so disappointed when they broke them up and Diana left town. I didn't think the show could disappoint me more with bringing the character of Diana back, but they did. 
EJ and Nicole. When EJ and Nicole first got together and Nicole got pregnant, I thought they made a much better couple than EJ and Sami and that Nicole could fit right in with the Dimera family. I hated when Nicole miscarried, hid it from EJ, and then did the baby switch. The two of them had such potential to be a power couple in Salem.

I liked EJ and Nicole as a couple back then. They could have been a powerful duo.
Sami and Lucas
Chloe and Philip
Chanel and Johnny

I used to love Theresa and Brady but then when Theresa came back in 2018, they pretty much ruined them by having Brady treat Theresa horribly for something that wasn't even entirely her fault and with that stupid custody battle that didn't need to happen. Chloe can have Brady for all I care; I'd rather have Theresa be paired up with someone else, maybe Philip or even Jeremy.
Another couple I used to love is Eric and Nicole but then they had an incredibly rushed wedding with Eric unceremoniously shipped off to Africa and then Nicole just cheats on him with the guy who has done nothing but torment them. Whatever magic they might have had is gone and I desperately want Eric to move on with Jada, who seems to have a lot of potential as a newbie. I don't like Nicole with Rafe but I'd rather have her move on from Eric for good.
And another couple I really loved was Hope and Aiden and they really felt like equals. I loved their little family with Ciara and Chase and I hate that they ruined Aiden by making him another DiMera lackey out to kill Hope and Chase ended up a rapist who forced himself on Ciara. And now the Hope/Bo fans finally get what they've always wanted with Bo coming back from the dead, which I really hate and I'm dreading his return to Salem. Thank God Ciara and Ben are not on the show right now because I am not looking forward to Bo possibly kissing his serial killer son-in-law's behind.

Philip and Chloe, the show has never given them a chance once Broe became a thing. They always get ruined pretty quickly. It has never made sense to me as the actors have always had incredible chemistry together but the show never commits.
Sami and Lucas. I loved Lumi back in the day. They've been destroyed for me but I really enjoyed them. Once Ejami became a thing, the show made it their mission to make sure that I could never legit believe in this couple again.
Ejole. I loved Ejole. I still like Ejole. They had such good chemistry but like Lumi the show was far more interested in Ejami even when they didn't make sense anymore.

Shane and Kim DID have an onscreen reunion in 2010 when they came back to Salem for Alice Hortons funeral. I couldn't find any video of it, but here's a pic from an episode in 2013 where they announced that they where remarried and a Soap Opera Weekly cover featuring the 2010 reunion.   |

Thanks, classicdaysfan . I don't mean to sound that bitter but all of these years later it still really bothers me a lot. Aiden and Chase were some of the rare characters that weren't tied to anybody on the canvas and they could've easily have had staying power for many, many years to come. |

Tripp and Allie were basically my favourite couple last year. Chanel and Johnny/Ava have potential. Soon, Tripp will be back, so I hope he and Allie could be together again.
