So this new character Sloan Peterson
I was scrolling through some stuff online and it was pointed out that chads mom was Madeline Peterson woods
Before chad was discovered a dimera he assumed the same surname
Is this a coincidence or a possible reveal later on?
What do you guys think?

Personally, I think it’s just another “subtle” (read: not subtle at all) pop culture reference like “Calista Lockhart” and “Harrison Lord”. Whoever comes up with these names seems to think they’re being clever.
Still, it’s an interesting thought. Could be a connection there. I almost wondered if this was supposed to be the same Sloane that went to Salem U and was in a sorority with Chelsea and Stephanie, but that could be an interesting angle, as well.

I love these speculation. She could be Chad's half sister. And also Stephanie's old college chum. Maybe the show is trying to populate that age group.

Oh and Sloan Peterson is the name of ferris beulers girlfriend….. just saying…. That was my first thought too. Someone on the writing staff is clearly a John Hughes fan. First giving Gwen the last name of Ryszczyk (16 Candles) now Sloane Peterson from Ferris Buehler. |

Yes! Every time I hear Gwen’s last name I think she was named after Sixteen Candles. I didn’t catch the Sloane Peterson thing. Personally, I hope she’s not around long.
