Last weekend we talked about the best ending for a series. Let's talk about the worst endings.
I'll start.
Seinfeld. I hated the trial and how they all ended up in prison. That was not funny and obviously not a good place to leave them.
I have others, but your turn.

I can’t think of many others besides Seinfeld. Any series where the finale is abrupt because of a cancellation is usually bad. I started watching CSI Miami when I got rid of cable. It comes on a network on my antenna. Admittedly, it wasn’t a great show but I got invested in two of the characters relationship and I hated that the show just cut off because they got canceled.

I absolutely hated the ending of St Elsewhere. People say it's iconic but it basically made the whole series pointless. I didn't mind the classic Newhart being a dream of the original Bob Newhart show but the St Elsewhere version of "this was all a dream" annoyed me.

I agree that the ending of Seinfeld was terrible.

There are two that bug me.
The Sopranos cop-out, did-Tony-die-or-live?
And the Star Trek: Enterprise, oh it was all just a make-believe fantasy on the holodeck 200 years in the future.

I didn’t watch religious or anything but I thought the ending for lost sucked a lot Everyone guessed early on that they’d end it this way and they denied it only to do it anyways
I also hated the ending to supernatural I hated that dean died and the way he died Not just cuz I love Jensen ackles but I just thought how he endured and beat so much only to be killed by a random vamp raid and left Sam behind Made me sad

Controversial opinion, I love the Seinfeld ending. The characters were terrible people and got exactly what they deserved. Their victims getting revenge on them, and ultimately Jerry and friend didn't learn anything. It's kind of the ending I want for the characters of it's always sunny.
I hated the Supernatural ending. I understand some of the reasoning but I still hate that Dean went out like that. I also really hate the 1999 USA Queer as Folk ending. It still makes me angry when I think about it.

I actually didn't mind the Seinfeld ending either! I liked that they managed to bring back most everyone the group interacted with and thought they went about it in a creative way. I also liked how the conversation the four of them had sitting in the cell at the end, was a callback to the start of the series. And IA completely about It's Always Sunny. I adore the show but it is Seinfeld on steroids. I don't know how they'll wrap it up, whenever they do, but I'm curious as to how. Can we talk about endings to revivals of shows? Because Gilmore Girls and The X-Files top my list there. I didn't love the last season of either shows original run, but I hated the way they brought them back just to end them in what was to me, super disappointing ways.
