Mad Men. I hated the ending at first. Then the more I thought about it, the more I realized it was perfect.
Friends was great.
Gilmore Girls was left in a really good place until they decided to do a quasi sequel with A Year in the Life and ruined it.

tanna4ever, Yes! The Newhart Show and its "all a dream" ending that took it back to his first show was terrific.

Breaking Bad - There’s no other way it could have ended. And it was a beautiful ending! True, it technically got a continuation for some of the characters (Jesse in El Camino, Saul in Better Call Saul), but the story of Walter White, the main character of the show, ended in Breaking Bad. Felina, the episode’s title, is one of the best hours of the series.
Twin Peaks - After a shaky second season, the finale of the original run was outstanding! The episode, titled Beyond Life and Death, is one of the finest hours of, not just the series, but TV in general! It later gained an 18-part follow-up called The Return, and while that ended well, the original series end is still the best!
House - The ending of House is almost perfect. Like Breaking Bad, it couldn’t have ended any other way. House was the modern day Sherlock Holmes, so of course it had to end the same way that did, with House faking his death. Brilliant!
