Beyond Salem, Chapter 2 Highs and Lows (Read 221 times)

Now that the series is over, what did you all think were the highs and lows of the series? I know we had highs and lows with each of the recaps, but this is more of a place to talk about the peaks and valleys of the series as a whole.

High - Bo and Hope's reunion, particularly the dance! Bo's alive again! Ciara's in her original personality! So many fun returns and nods to history! I think this series was even better than the first!

Low - For the most part, Angela. Gabi, as well, most of the time. Both had good, even great moments, but they were overshadowed by mostly being annoying.

As with last time, I plan to do a more detailed write-up of my thoughts sometime in the next few days. What did everyone else, think?

I've only seen the series through the eyes of the recaps. At some point I may be able to watch for real.

High - Seeing Paul. Meeting NuStephanie. André DiMera's thorough recaps.

Low - While it was good to have Bo back and a tribute to Bo and Hope's history, I'm not a fan of surrealism or bringing people back from the dead, even if it's Bo. I also don't appreciate characters from 30-40 years ago suddenly mattering, like Megan. And I'm tired of people trying to bring Stefano back.

I may feel different once I watch, but that's my thoughts for now.
