John gives Megan the prism he took from Li. Megan knew he was the right man for the job. She unites the three prisms, which glow multiple colors, and whispers that she can finally cure “him” with Dr. Chorvat’s technology. Paul and Andrew burst in, guns drawn. John pulls his gun on them. Andrew tells Megan to hand over the prisms.
Andrew again tells Megan to hand over the prisms. Megan says she doesn’t have time for this and tells John to deal with them. Paul tries to get John to drop the gun. He knows John would never hurt him. John tells Paul he means nothing to him. Paul doesn’t believe him. He talks about how close he and John have gotten over the last few years, all the times John’s been there for him. John says things have changed, when he looks at Paul now, he feels nothing but disdain. Paul knows that’s not true. John is still the man who hopped on a plane to come to Paul’s pride party and has rescued Paul more times than he can count, now it’s Paul’s turn to rescue him. Paul puts his gun down, saying he loves John. Megan says enough and gasses the room. She puts on a gas mask as she leaves. The room fills with white gas, and John, Paul and Andrew pass out.
Andrew is the first to come to. He restrains John, then checks on Paul, who wakes up and asks about his dad. Paul unties John and tries to get John to wake up. He tells him to say something. John wakes up and says “something”, and they both laugh. He’s back to normal and tells Paul he loves him. John and Paul hug.
