John is at a Pride party in an apartment, having a great time on the dance floor with a bunch of guys. He gets a phone call from Marlena and apologizes for not being at Sami and Lucas’ wedding. He tells her to give them his best, and that he’ll call her later. Then, he rejoins the party. Paul walks in with a keg. John helps him set it up. Paul’s surprised that John knows how to set up a keg, but John says he’s a man of many talents. Then, realizing how that could be taken, jokingly says that’s not what he meant. Everyone’s having a great time. Paul says he could hear the music coming down the street, so maybe they should think about shutting it down. John says the party’s just getting started and gets back on the dance floor. Paul takes off his jacket and joins him. A little while later, most people have gone. Paul hugs Terrence the D.J., who says John is one sexy ally. John is happy to be here. He’s proud of Paul and celebrates everyone’s right to love whoever they choose. Terrence invites John to the club next time he’s in town, then leaves. Paul and John agree that it was a great party, and now comes the not-so-fun part, cleaning it up. John puts on some music to help. Sometime later, the apartment has been cleaned up. Paul and John share the last beer. Paul salutes him, saying he’s lucky to have a supportive father. John says there’s nothing that would make him love him any less. He’s proud of how far Paul’s come. Paul’s grateful for the part Luke played in his life, helping him get back on his feet. John asks if there’s any chance for them to get together. Paul says they’re just friends. He doesn’t have any potential dates, either, but he’s happy to be there with his dad. There’s a knock at the door. Paul opens it to find the American man from the prologue, who is now wearing a police outfit and a badge that reads “Michaels”. Officer Michaels says there was a noise complaint. Paul admits that he had some friends over for Pride, but as he can see, they’ve all left. John senses something isn’t right and asks if this was really about a noise complaint. He says that he used to know cops who used to harass the gay community, but is sure Michaels isn’t one of those types of cops. Michaels admits that it wasn’t a noise complaint, and tells John to come with him, calling him Mr. Black. John says he’s not going anywhere with him, then Michaels tasers John, knocking him out. Paul and Michaels get into a physical altercation. Paul puts up a good fight, at one point flipping Michaels over and breaking a coffee table. While he’s presumably out, Paul goes to check on John. Michaels, however, is not as out as he seems, and hits Paul over the head with the empty keg. When Paul comes to, John and Michaels are gone. Later, Paul tells two cops about the incident with Michaels. At first the cops think it was just a Pride party that got out of hand, but Paul convinces them otherwise. He gives them the details of what happened. He hands them the badge Michaels was wearing that fell off. The cops can tell it’s a fake badge. Paul asks who the hell attacked him and took John. if not a cop. The next morning, Paul talks to Marlena, saying that Shane is on his way to help him find John. There’s a knock at the door. Paul hangs up to answer it. He finds a younger man, who introduces himself as Shane’s son, ISA Agent Andrew Donovan.

It was great to see Paul. And I love Christopher Sean and Drake Hogestyn's son/father chemistry. All the goofy stuff with John dancing at the party went on a little too long for my liking -- it was a cute idea but at a point, I was like, "Where is any of this going?" And we finally meet Andrew Donovan!!!
