Ben and Ciara drop anchor and tie Living in Cin to the dock. Ciara asks what kind of knot Ben’s using, and he says a cleat hitch. Ben helps Ciara off the boat, and she says he’s a very fast learner. They kiss, as Hope walks onto the dock. She loves the PDA and welcomes them to Montreal. After a round of hugs, Hope says it’s been too long. Ciara and Hope share a moment. Ben brings Little Bo out, and Ciara introduces him to his grandmother. Hope is delighted to meet her baby grandson. She says there’s someone else who’s happy to meet him, too: Ciara’s father. Hope knows he’s looking down on them from Heaven with the biggest smile. Bo watches the events unfold on a screen and says, “you’ve got that right, Fancy Face”. As they walk in, Ciara comments on Hope’s apartment. Hope asks if it’s not what she expected. Ciara thought there might be something top-secret about it, since they’ve never been invited. Ben says they’re grateful for the boat. Hope’s happy they’re having this adventure, especially since now she gets to know her grandson. Ciara and Ben watch as Hope talks to Little Bo. Bo says his name’s not the only thing his grandson gets from him. Suddenly, the picture freezes. Another resident of Heaven, Angela, walks in, saying Bo’s lost his streaming privileges. Bo asks what about “to err is human, to forgive, divine”. Angela points out that Bo isn’t human anymore, and that there are rules in Heaven, rules that he broke. Bo says everything turned out fine. He saved his grandson from the Devil, and he’d do it again. He asks for the remote back. Angela continues that he broke the rules by bringing Tripp back from the dead. Bo says that he had to do something to help, as he knows the pain of losing a son too soon and didn’t want his best friend to go through that. Angela says she got in trouble with the folks upstairs, since she let Bo take that trip. She tells him he’s lucky that his punishment isn’t more severe. Bo didn’t think there were time-outs in Heaven and asks what he’s supposed to do. Angela suggests he better himself by learning a new skill. Bo says he already learned every Beatles song on the harp. Angela suggests something more appropriate, like Mozart, and St. Cecelia is looking to recast the lead in the summer musical, since James Dean dropped out. Bo says those boots are too big to fill. He’s a motorcycle rider who goes toe-to-toe with bad guys, and he’s bored since there’s none of those in Heaven. He feels like a kid who got grounded. Angela tells him there are other ways to pass his time, like catching up on his favorite soap opera. Bo says his favorite soap opera is his family. Angela says he won’t get any more live feeds for another millenia or two. Bo says his family are finally together, he wants to share their happiness, hoping that they’ll sense he’s there. Little Bo starts getting fussy. Hope tries to comfort him, but Ciara takes him, which calms him down. Hope suggests that maybe he was hungry or tired. Ciara tells her he got scared because he doesn’t know her. Hope understands. She apologizes for not being there for Ciara when he was born. She feels terrible for not being there. Ciara says she didn’t feel bad enough to show up. Ben tries to step in, but Ciara demands to know where Hope’s been and what she’s been doing the last two years. Ben goes into the other room to put Little Bo down and let Ciara and Hope talk. Hope tells Ciara to let her have it, but Ciara isn’t going to let Hope get away with making her feel like the unreasonable one when she (Hope) is the one who left. Hope thought she lost her. Ciara points out that after she knew she hadn’t, Hope still didn’t come home. Hope says they saw each other in Johannesburg, but Ciara says that was for one day. She doesn’t understand why Hope didn’t come to her birth or wedding. Hope says she was at the wedding. Ciara says not the one that didn’t end in disaster. She was praying that Hope would show up. She asks what was so important over the last two years that Hope couldn’t even try to come home. Hope says she was traveling, she needed alone time. She was at a crossroads when she left Salem, she thought she’d lost Ciara and was about to reconcile with Rafe, which she knew wouldn’t go well, so she needed to find herself. Ciara says that’s B.S. Bo asks Angela, and she confirms that he can’t watch his family because he brought the son of his best friend back from the dead after said son sacrificed himself to get rid of the Devil. Bo thinks Tripp deserves a second chance. Angela says that wasn’t his choice to make, but Bo stands by his decision. She says she shouldn’t have let him see the live stream. She only let him do it because Ciara and her baby were in danger, but she doesn’t like him spying on Hope. Bo denies spying, saying it’s creepy. He wants to see her face again. Angela tells him to cut the cord, the live stream’s off limits. Bo asks why Angela gets to make these kinds of decisions. Angela tells him to work on his Mozart. Ciara says Hope could have at least tried to visit, even Bo managed to. She tells Hope about her experience of seeing Bo’s ghost, and how he saved the baby. Hope is grateful that Ciara got to see her dad again. Ciara says she needed her. There are a lot of people in Salem who were very hurt that Hope never came back, listing Shawn, Julie and Doug, among others. She suggests that Hope doesn’t care about them, but Hope tells her she knows that’s not true. It’s the furthest thing from the truth. Ciara’s sorry she’s being hard on Hope, but she needed her, and she wasn’t there. Hope needs Ciara to know that she, Shawn and Ciara’s son are the most important thing in the world to her. She asks Ciara not to judge her. She can’t change the past, and says all they can do is be grateful that they’re together now. She asks Ciara to let go of her anger. She loves her and is proud of her. They share a tearful hug, admitting that they miss and love each other. Ciara apologizes, but Hope doesn’t want her to apologize. Ciara says she’ll focus on being in the moment with her. They share another hug. Ciara asks Hope about her life in Montreal. They sit on the couch. Hope says she misses Salem, especially her kids, the clam chowder from the Brady Pub, and the triple-layer cake, but Montreal has so much to offer. Ciara asks how she’s spending her days. Hope says she’s gone back to one of her first loves. Bo is trying to turn the Earth streaming service back online, muttering that he should be able to do it, since he can hotwire a car. At last, he gets the stream working, and watches Hope and Ciara talk. Hope clarifies that she meant figure skating. She coaches kids at a local rink. Ciara’s relieved. When Hope disappeared, she thought she might be involved in something dangerous. Hope says Ciara is her father’s daughter. Bo watches as Hope says spy missions are far behind her. He knows the look on her face, she just lied to Ciara. Ciara’s glad to hear that. The baby wakes up, and Ciara goes to check on him, saying that she’ll see Hope in the morning, as she’s been up since four. Hope thanks Ciara for understanding. They hug one more time, then Ciara goes into another room. After she goes, Hope retrieves a key from under a lamp, which opens a drawer. She pulls out an ISA folder. Bo asks what Hope is up to. The next morning, Ciara and Ben wake up while Hope is laying out croissants. Ben says he’ll be on baby duty and asks Ciara to take time for a nap today. Hope asks how long they’re staying. Ciara asks if she’s kicking them out already. Hope doesn’t want them putting off their adventures at sea because of her. Ben and Ciara say they’re planning on spending a few days. Hope’s glad to hear it. She needs to tell them something, though. Bo says now they’re getting somewhere. Hope mentions that she traveled a lot these last two years. The doorbell rings. Hope answers the doorbell. It’s Michaels, now weaning a beret. Ciara asks who that is. Michaels brings out a bunch of flowers, calling Hope beautiful and saying they’re for her. Hope didn’t think he’d be here for a week. Michaels says he missed her too much. Hope and Michaels kiss. Bo asks who the hell that is.
